Highlights
  • Brick Lane - One of the East End’s most iconic streets, Brick Lane is the heart of London’s South Asian community. Renowned for its curries and other South Asian treats, the street boasts a rich history and is now a hub for the city’s trendy crowd. We’ll stroll along the street, stopping at well-known vendors along the way. There’s always something happening here, making you feel like you’re part of a movie, surrounded by local characters and fantastic eateries.

  • The Old Truman Brewery - Once one of the world’s largest breweries, it now hosts a weekend market. Rich in history, it serves as a focal point for many local tales.

  • Old Spitalfields Market - One of London’s most renowned and beloved food markets, featuring high-quality local produce alongside international ingredients. It’s a true representation of London’s diverse culinary scene.

  • Shoreditch - Formerly a slum, Shoreditch has transformed into a hipster haven. Home to some of the best bars and restaurants, it’s an area rich in history and ever-evolving culture.

  • Whitechapel - Once the hunting ground of Jack the Ripper, Whitechapel is much safer today. We’ll wander through its streets, admiring the beautiful townhouses that line both sides. The atmosphere makes it easy to feel like you’re on the set of a Dickensian film.

A fabulous, filling time! - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the food tour with Sophia! She shared her knowledge and love of the east end with us during our time together. As promised, there was plenty of food and a wide variety. Thanks to Sophia's recommendation, we found ourselves at an incredible Georgian restaurant for dinner. I highly recommend this food tour!

London Bites East End Food Tour - This food tour was not just about the food but about a part of London with a rich and colourful history. Our excellent guide Trevelyan entertained us with tales of how the culinary delights of the East End developed through immigration and trade. We enjoyed a wide variety of food such as Turkish flatbread, chocolate and samosas. A fun and varied day out!

A great food tour - The tour was well structured and conducted at a pace where you did not feel rushed. I was able to take in the history, and the cultural influences. The sampling of different foods was excellent. I experienced a part of London I would not ordinarily have gone to. Our guide was superb. The other people on the tour were really good company as well. Overall a really enjoyable experience. One which I would recommend.

A great food tour through Borough - My daughter and I had a great time on the Borough Market Tour with Gary as our Guide. The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed all the historical information and trip along the river to see the Globe Theatre! Of course the food was fantastic and the highlight! We had lots of great options, and appreciated Gary acommmodating the pescatarian at the last minute! I especially enjoyed the sausage role from the Ginger Pig, and my daughter loved the Calamari! We highly recommend this tour!
