Additional Information

Embarking from Kingsbury Station and concluding at Hampstead, you’ll explore George Michael’s London in an authentic London Taxi accompanied by a knowledgeable guide.

During this four-hour journey, you’ll visit his childhood home, his school and the enormous mural dedicated to the Faith singer in this vibrant part of North London.

The tour also delves into the less glamorous side of fame that came with George’s successful solo career, all under the intense scrutiny of the media. It uncovers his well-publicised issues, including the notorious Snappy Snaps traffic accident and the following arrests around Hampstead.

The singer’s final UK performance took place at Earl’s Court in 2012 before he unfortunately passed away in December 2016. He resided in a grand Grade II listed property in Highbury which is the final stop of this intriguing George Michael tour of north London. This is a splendid experience for all Wham and George Michael enthusiasts who appreciate his music.

Great day - Had a lovely experience with Richard our tour guide, who gave us the insight into George's upbringing, to the height of his fame. Richards knowledge of not just the tour but of London was phenomenal. He really did go above and beyond on this tour for us. The weather wasn't great but we still had the chance to take photos, and Richard kindly send me some later on in the day. A great bloke. Plenty of opportunity to take photos and also visit the grave of George and his family. A fab day for fans

Fun tour! - I'm not even a George Michael fan, but I really enjoyed this tour. My friend wanted to go, so I agreed. She loved the George Michael sites and info. I loved seeing different parts of London that we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Richard was our guide, and he does a fantastic job. He knows George's history plus so much more about the area. So he pointed out extra things that made the tour even more interesting.

George Michael Tour - Great tour! A must for all George Michael fans, plenty of stops for photos & traveling in a comfortable, clean black cab! Our driver & tour guide John was fantastic, so were our fellow tour mates Carol & Skip! I bought this gift for my friends 50th Birthday present, she's a major George fan, I can confidently say it gave her a day to remember! The tour terminates in Highgate, I recommend booking lunch in the area & having a wander back to Highgate cemetery or around the area after!

George Michael Tour - Thoroughly enjoyable day - arranged for my wife, but I think I enjoyed as much as she did! Very knowledgeable tour guide (Catherine) and good company. Shared the experience with a delightful Mum and daughter combo from Glasgow. Highly recommend for any George Michael fans who want to join the dots for all that they have read or seen on him since the early 80's.

George Michael Tour - The tour was really good! Our tour guid Richard was lovely! And played abit of George whilst sight seeing in the cab! Was lovely to see where and how George grew up and lucky with the scout hut thanks to the two gents who kindly let us have a look inside where George first played! The whole trip was lovely met some other George fanatics too! Very emotional seeing his grave stone! He was a true legend but a humble man! Will never forget this trip thanks to all that made it special for my sister's 50th!! X

GM tour ❤️ - I went on this tour as a 60th birthday treat from my daughter . Catherine our guide was lovely as were Sally & Steve whom we shared the day with. Some background GM music during the taxi ride would be an idea however I think GM fans would enjoy this experience.
