A great day out in good hands. - Difficult place for a non driver to reach with no local train station so this tour was ideal and fairly priced as it included entrance to the Glastonbury Abbey ruins. Our guide Kristen was very knowledgeable friendly and easy to listen to . Had a great day and came home with plenty of cider pies cakes and ofcourse Cheese!!!!

Wonderful, full on day trip to Glastonbury and Cheddar - This was a fantastic trip with lots of highlights. It's quite a lot for a day so be ready to come back tired. Choices have to be made in terms of where to go as there is no time for everything but it's surely worth it to have a glimpse of these to places. We had lots of fun. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. Recommend.

Amazing experience - I could’ve spent all day in Glastonbury but we fit a lot in to our tour and it was a great experience! Pick up and drops offs were in convenient locations in London, the bus was comfortable and had charging ports. I learned a lot and will be back!

Great day out of the city! - Great option if you want to see Glastonbury out of London in one day. Just enough time to see all the highlights but do bring picnic with you as you may not have time for sitdown lunch. Get the bus up to the Tor, have picnic there and walk back down. Stop at Chalice Well Gardens!
You won’t have time to walk the whole loop from Jacob’s Ladder in Cheddar unless you’ve into crosscountry running.
Altogether, a brillant day out of the city! And big Thank You to our driver/guide Brandon - top notch! Don’t think have learnt that much about England’s history in a long time 😁

Excellent day - Lovely day out, and we were able to see many pretty villages on the way.
Lucky too with the weather.
Glastonbury is unique, full of new age shops and a beautiful abbey. Very easy to find places to eat.
Cheddar of course has many cheese shops and many many tourist tat shops too.
All in all an excellent day at a relaxed pace.

A great day out in the West Country - A beautiful day out, both Glastonbury and Cheddar are pretty, quirky towns. The caves at Cheddar are amazing, the cheese even better! Brendan was friendly and very knowledgeable. The only negative is there is not enough time to explore both towns.

Wonderful day out in Somerset - We had a fantastic day! The coach was comfortable and the driver was very personable and friendly. We caught a glimpse of Stonehenge enroute which we didn't expect. Glastonbury was a nice surprise - what a lovely village! The Abbey was really impressive - it must have been quite a sight when it was whole. And the views from the Tor were amazing! Definitely worth the hike up. Still it didn't leave a lot of time in the Cheddar Gorge which was a shame. The Gough cave was jaw dropping and deserved a good long visit. I wasn't impressed with the Cox cave - the multi media display was poorly done and in my opinion not worth the time or money. Although I walked up the 274 steps of Jacob's Ladder I was only left with 6 minutes to visit the tower and no time to take the 3km cliff walk. I wasn't able to visit the shops nor get any cheese which was a disappointment but understandable with the travel time to reach both destinations. I would definitely take another trip with Anderson's

A once in a life time experience - This tour was absolutely phenomenal!! All of the sites are so beautiful and the culture and history are so interesting. Glastonbury Abbey is a beautiful place to visit and was such a great look into English history and culture. Cheddar was totally different and was a beautiful small town with AMAZING cheese and some absolutely beautiful caves that are totally safe and easy to explore. I would 100 percent recommend this to anyone who wants to explore and experience different parts of English culture! Our tour guide took us past Stonehenge on the way back to London which was a nice treat.

9 September 2023 -Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge - This one day tour was guided by Anderson Tours. One had almost 3hrs to comfortably wander around Glastonbury and see the ruins of its Abbey and visit some quirky shops. There was also ample time to grab lunch and/or have a quick light lunch at one of the cafes. Visiting Chalice Wells (about 10-15mins walk away) and Gardens is a must to feel the tranquility and harmony of its surroundings. Following this about 30-45mins away we headed towards Cheddar Gorge and saw lots of breath taking views. Here we were given about 2.5hrs. Visited the Gough Caves at extra cost. The caves were well-lit and easy to walk but not suitable if one has mobility difficulties especially walking up and down the stairs as there are so many stairs!! The views of these caves were spectacular. I would definitely recommend this tour and one should ensure to visit in the heart of Summer.
