First timer lessons - Everything about this company was excellent. Tracey, who helped arrange and coordinate everything was very responsive and extremely helpful. Reece, the instructor was brilliant. I took two 13 years old boys with me, and he knew exactly what they would want to do and was very attentive and his teaching was easy to understand. He was also very good with me, as somebody who had never fished before. We left after two hours, definitely wanting to go again.

Fantastic Fishing Experience - I purchased this learn to fish experience for my 10 year old son as a red letter day for Christmas . The booking process was super easy with Tracey, who was great when I had to make a change to my booking. We arrived on the day and our coach was Graham. What a fantastic coach! My son loved learning from him, and they managed to catch a 10lb carp! Overall fabulous experience that I would highly recommend!

The Perfect Fishing Taster session from 'Learn to Fish' - The setting here (Puddledock Farm Fishery, Upminster) is tranquil, as you might expect at a fishing facility, and there seem plenty of fishing purchases for you. The instructor, Graham, we had was excellent and pretty much everything I hoped for in one; he was extremely knowledgeable, patient, guiding, affable, and knew how to reel in my 9 year-old when he wasn't quite following instruction. The other facilities here were good too: parking (easy), toilets (maintained) and the café - from which you mightn't expect much at sone fishing lakes - was large and offered as varied a breakfast menu as you might need, with a factory team of cooks behind the counter...with table delivery service to boot. There is also a fishing shop on site. In the lead-up to this event, I had Tracey, in administration dealing with me and she was efficient and accommodating (when I had cause to change a booking date). I cannot think of a single reason to not use this company 'Learn to Fish' and every reason TO use them and this particular site. All in all, this was the perfect taster fishing lesson for a child...and his rusty old-man

Fab time fishing! - My 6 year old son had a wonderful time at his first fishing lesson with Graham! Would recommend the activity for any kids with a passion for nature.

Great day of fishing! - I wanted to learn how to Fly Fish and our instructor Nigel was great. Helpful and extremely capable, would recommend to anyone looking to learn or improve their skills!

Great experience leaning how to fish - I had a really fun ssesion with Reece learning how to fish. He was very experienced and explained everything very clearly. I caught a few fish during our session which was the highlight of the day.

A great chance to catch big fish - Despite an awful weather (a big umbrella was saving us) we managed to catch several big carps and some smaller fish. They provided all the required equipment, and our coach (Graham) was very polite and helpful. This experience was my birthday present, and I can definitely recommend this activity!

Amazing experience, well worth it! - The experience was amazing, me and my dad loved it, our instructor Reece was brilliant and explained everything really well and made it a great day. First time fishing and now we both can’t wait to get out and do it again. Would highly recommend!
