Informational and experiential tour! Highly Recommend. - I was amazed by David's knowledge of the artifacts within the museum and how they coincided with scripture. I was particularly interested in the Assyrian wing and, again, his knowledge did not disappoint! I went on the tour after a recommendation from a friend, and was interested in going as a Biblical Fiction writer. I was also extremely grateful David accommodated me being a bit late due to a mishap on the tube. I highly recommend going on this tour! So grateful I went.

Eye-opening experience - David was sensational in how he brought the various artifacts alive to us. There were so many “aha” moments that revealed the context of Bible verses. If you don’t join this tour when in London, it would be akin to not joining a Bible tour in Israel!

This will be on the exam. - This was an amazing way to dig deep into the British Museum. First of all we were impressed by David reaching out to us prior to the tour with general advice and a pre-tour study guide that ensured we were ready to learn in-depth. His ability to tie various displays to accounts found in both the Old and New Testaments brought us a richer understanding of the Bible. We found his enthusiasm for the topic and concern for our experience to be above and beyond what we hope to receive from a guide. We would recommend this tour to anyone seeking to gain a better understanding of the historicity of the Bible.

Absolutely Priceless! - Wow! I cannot express how much I enjoyed this tour! The museum is huge, but with David’s vast insight, each piece that related to the Bible was pointed out. Dots were connected in the timeline of history that I otherwise would never have known. You will not regret this tour!

The Bible Comes to Life - David is an excellent and passionate teacher of the Bible. He gave us timelines of the Bible and cross referenced artifacts with specific scriptures. By doing so, he successfully authenticated writings from the Old and New Testaments.

Great experience. Highly recommend! - The whole experience was great. Very educational and tied together very well. Dave was awesome. Review the things he sends beforehand if you have a chance. I’m someone who hasn’t looked at the Bible for years and still enjoyed every bit of it as stories came back and made relevant with each piece.

Excellent Bible Tour - The Bible tour was excellent. David the tour guide was very thorough in his knowledge of relating the artefacts in the British Museum to the Bible and showing specific Bible verses. Even though the tour was 4 hours it went so quickly, I was really captivated by the wealth of knowledge which I learnt.

A thoroughly enriching experience - A day well spent. David delivered a masterful presentation of artefacts and their relevance to the Bible, spiced with wit, humour and more insider details than you can shake a Sargonid spear at. Did the extended tour (with Persia & Babylon) and every moment was wonderful. Absolutely recommended!

Unearthing Biblical Stories: A Journey Through the British Museum - Our visit to the British Museum was nothing short of enlightening. With my wife and four kids, we delved into the histories of the Caesars, Greece, and Persia, all through the lens of the Bible. The connections between these ancient civilizations and the scriptures were fascinating, making the artifacts and exhibits come alive in a whole new way. On a subsequent visit, I returned to the museum alone, joining David and a small group to explore the sections on Assyria and Egypt. This focused tour deepened my understanding of these ancient cultures and their significance in biblical history. Both visits offered rich, educational experiences that left me with a profound appreciation for the intersections of history, faith, and art. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the Bible's historical context! During our tour of the British Museum, we came across an incredible piece of history that brought the story of Jonah and Nineveh to life. David pointed out a depiction of the king of Nineveh with a fish on his head, a symbol of the "fish people" that the Assyrians believed in. This fascinating detail added new depth to the story of Jonah. As the story goes, when Jonah was swallowed by the great fish and later emerged, the people of Nineveh would have recognized the smell of the sea and the acid-bleached skin as signs of someone who had been touched by the divine. Their familiarity with these "fish people" made Jonah's warning more credible, leading them to heed his message of repentance. This anecdote was a powerful reminder of how ancient beliefs and symbols can provide deeper insight into the biblical narratives we know so well. It made the story of Jonah all the more vivid and real for us.
