Fantastic burgers and rock star quality service - We had a pre-matinee lunch here on 11 May as part of our daughter's 10th birthday celebrations. Great setting in Mayfair, had a lovely sunny stroll through Green Park first. We sat on the terrace. Our server was Louise and she was fantastic, very quick and attentive service in a friendly, efficient style. She told us this was the flagship branch and about the museum next door and memorabilia inside (we later went to check this out including the famous Eric Clapton guitar!) Louise made a lovely fuss of our daughter's birthday including bringing out an ice cream sundae with candles and getting everyone to sing. Daughter is a bit shy but she was SO impressed! The food was fantastic, the nicest burgers I can remember having and really good value for such nice food and overall great experience. Thank you Hard Rock Cafe and please give Louise a pay rise!

Great Way to End The Day - Visiting the original Hard Rock Cafe is a London tradition for me on arrival night. Once again, it did not disappoint. The food was very good and served promptly. The female bartender on duty was kind enough to make us an actual lemon drop drink instead of the smaller version offered on the menu and it was fantastic. In addition to the fabulous music history posted along the walls our waitress, "Charo" was so fun; kind, caring, and interesting to speak with. She has worked there for over 20 years, and if her enthusiasm is any indicator, she is quite happily employed. She also has a great singing voice. We thank her and the Hard Rock for a lovely evening.

Excellent and recommended - Beam that in Italy and Spain HRC never disappoint me, always finds the rock spirit of old (especially) and new generations. Contrary to what happens in other frinchiding the food is good and well cooked. Here I fully retouched that spirit and ate well, I also take order a glass of excellent Italian wine. The service is efficient and friendly. Be careful though, this is one of those places in London where VAT (our VAT) is not included in the prices indicated in the menu, they add it separately. Nevertheless I found the cost of the dinner in line with the quality of what I ate. Excellent and recommended

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE A NUT ALLERGY or if you are using them for the evening meal on a wst school trip. - We were travelling with a large school group who, for many of them this was their first time in London. We had a pupil with us with a significant nut allergy. We had previously indicated this on our preorder. Upon arrival they proceeded to retake everyone’s order. The pupil with the nut allergy who is very responsible asked a member of staff to confirm that she was safe to eat at the restaurant. The initial waiter asked said yes everything is nut free. Shortly after this the ‘supervisor’ came over and stated that they could not confirm anything was nut safe and that they would be unable to serve the pupil. I expressed my concern at what had happened to be told I would need to take it up with our booking operator wst travel. Further more despite providing 50 covers to this restaurant on this day we were treated like 2nd class citizens. They did not open the downstairs bar meaning our young people had to go upstairs to buy additional drinks after their first one which was included. Also there was very poor customer service throughout, we were treated like an inconvenience. When I raised this politely with a member of staff the ‘supervisor’ interrupted and accused me of bringing up issues and of having a raised tone which simply wasn’t true. Ultimately this mistake could have caused a pupil in my care to go into anaphylactic shock. I ended the conversation by starting that I would be escalating my complaint to which the ‘supervisor’ said ‘and so will I’ which was an interesting moment of unprofessional flair to conclude the highly unpleasant customer service. I would NEVER use hard rock on a school trip again and have advised wst to seriously consider their partnership with them. I would not recommend any other school use them as their evening meal provider on a London trip. Interesting that they were perfectly polite when plying us with 20% off vouchers for the shop on the way in…

The New Era - Wow, guess there's a first for everything even at Hard Rock. Came to this location about 22 years ago and probably 80% of all around the world. Doing a Europe trip with grandkids and did Piccadilly yesterday ( spent about 550 pounds) there and wanted my grandson to see the original and tell him the story of it and go to the vault. Well go inside and allot of empty tables and see a booth by bar, just want 3 drinks and nachos with beef. The waitress tells me ah if your only having nachos and 3 drinks you have to stand at bar or go outside. I said we'll nachos ( about 30 pounds) and 3 drinks is going to be around 50 pounds and I have to sit outside or stand at bar? Yes corporate rules. I said we'll have the management come tell me I cannot eat nachos and have 3 drinks inside. Anyway about 5 minutes nobody coming over and again was slow inside. Management finally came walking over but wife and grandson were outside. She did say corporate policy and I disagree as I'm sure Eric C. would too. If she only knew how it all started....... Well told grandson story but didn't get to show him around as I as a old rock and roller didn't meet the criteria of Hard Rock dining regulations.

Where is the "hardrock" - This has nothing to do with hardrock like they played pop songs in the HARDROCK CAFÉ. Everything is overpriced and all the shirt there are about the fact that this is the hardrock café. The food was fine but this is still not THE HARD ROCK CAFÉ this is just Café shop.
