Itinerary:

Gunthorpe Street - Scene of murder Martha Tabram

The scene many experts claim to be the first Jack the Ripper murder. This cobbled stone lane way remains a great starting point in the tour, as you can instantly feel the sense of a bygone era, of gaslit streets, dark corners and quiet footsteps in the night, as the ripper lay in wait for his victims.

Frying Pan pub - The death of Mary Ann Nichols

One of the last sightings of victim Mary Ann Nichols before her mutilated body was discovered in Bucks Row on the night of 31st August, 1888. This building, and its surrounding area, provide a great insight into the social living conditions and the everyday fight for survival in London’s East End.

Hanbury Street - Scene of the Annie Chapman murder

The body of Annie Chapman was discovered here in the early hours of 8th September 1888, her throat cut across, her body horribly mutilated. What clues did the killer leave?

The Ripper Letters

See the emergence of Jack the ripper in a series of penned letters, sent to the central news agency during the “Autumn of Terror” They were written in blood red ink and sent with half a human kidney.

The Death of Elizabeth Stride

Elizabeth Stride’s, or Long Liz, body was found in Dutfield’s yard off Berner street in the early hours of 30th September 1888. Her death was only the first in a night that would forever become known as the “double event”.

Mitre Square - Scene of the Catherine Eddowes murder

The 30th September 1888 became known as the “double event” when the Ripper killed twice in one night. You’ll visit the original cobble-stoned square, investigate the evidence and find out how the ripper evaded capture.

Goulston Street - Scene of perhaps the most vital clue in the ripper case

The night of the double murder left perhaps one of the most important clues in the entire case. What was it? Does it help solve the mystery?

Dorset Street - Scene of the Mary Kelly murder

The Ripper’s final victim was found in her small room at 13 Millers Court on 9th Nov 1888 and was the most savagely mutilated victim of them all. You’ll visit the murder sight and recreate the final moments of the ripper’s reign of terror. Over a century later, the police photo is still very disturbing.

Jack the Ripper tour with Mathew - strictly recommended - The walking tour with Mathew was so great!!! He gave us insight in ancient life, not only in the crimes of Jack the Ripper. Mathew managed to engage the whole group with his stories and facts provided. We - my son and me - can definitely recommend the tour! Thanks to Mathew for the great tour!!!

Ask for Alan! - Amazing tour! Our guide was Alan, he kept things moving but made sure to keep everybody in the group comfortable and together. Extremely respectful telling of the history without pulling any punches - be forewarned the material is definitely not for children/easily triggered audiences. Absolute 10/10 experience.

Great experience. - Great tour with Mick, who had a fascinating knowledge and gruesome details (also an incredible database on his head of other killers or daredevils in everyone’s city!). Of course, the area has changed, but amazing to see what still survives.

Great walking tour, exceptional guide - Our tour guide was exceptional. He was very professional, prepared and knowledgable. Great storyteller. Only problem is your at 730 pm is still in the daylight so the ripper vision was almost useless. Suggest a stronger light as this would enhance the experience.

Great Tour Guide - Awesome tour! Our tour guide, Rob, was both entertaining and informative. I was so impressed that he had gone out of his way to study so much about Jack the Ripper in his own and was able to give us so much information. It was interesting to walk the streets and see the sights of the events. Seeing the pictures along she way added to the tour and made it stand out.

Great learning about the human side of history - Went on the tour with Jamie. I'm not sure the Ripper Vision added much, but I appreciated how Jaime really humanized the victims and touched on the sociological factors of their murders that unfortunately continue until today. He also shared a great restaurant recommendation after the tour.

Fun! - Harry was energetic and rippervision was fun. Great seeing the city in a different way. My only complaint is he didn't take us back to where we started. Felt dumped off. Scary cuz I didn't know where we were. Also no connection to the group.

Very good Jack the Ripper Tour - Jaime, the tour guide, was very good. The meeting point was easy to find. The tour was very informative. We took the early tour at 5pm, so the Ripper Vision was not effective due to sunlight. Jaime used large photos to replace the projector at most locations. Overall, I recommend this tour if you are interested in serial killers or Jack the Ripper.

Self-absorbed guide - Knowledgeable but incredibly narcissistic guide. We completely lost the feeling of the tour and the places we visited. The guide was completely uninterested in his group and giving us a storytelling experience. The only thing that mattered was the sound of his own voice. The guide grinded on non-stop about himself, trivialities and as part of this also the facts surrounding the murders. The absolute worst guiding I have participated in.
