High tea on a double decker in London - Such a lovely outing. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The high tea was lovely and so was the route through London. The staff were warm and welcoming. We will definitely do this again.

Fab Afternoon with great crew - We took my mum for her 94th birthday she now lives in Devon but lived in London most of her life. Amazing crew who when they found out it was her birthday sang to her and gave her some gifts . A really memorable day and the crew treated us all with such kindness and it was such a fun way to spend a few hours . Fab food and drink . Will definitely book again when next in London. Big thank you to everyone A1+

Snacks with a view - We had booked the tour in advance, which turned out to be very convenient for us as it was raining properly. Since the bus was not fully staffed, we were welcome to sit upstairs although we had reserved only for the basement. The service was just praiseworthy and top!! (Unfortunately, I didn't remember the names.) In between, the two announced the buildings/sights from time to time when they were with us with the service. Unfortunately, there was no general announcement (also from the tape) on the bus via loudspeakers. The typical teatime food was all freshly prepared and delicious. I particularly like the tea cup, which you can take as a souvenir afterwards. Desirable would be windshield wipers on the upper windshield (though I don't know if this is common in the UK). All in all, a great option if you are only briefly in London and want to connect as much as possible! Can be highly recommended!

A fun way to view London! - The food was very nice. We were pleasantly surprised at how fresh it was as our tour wasn't until 2.30 in the afternoon. We especially loved that the scone was warm! It would have been nicer if the sandwiches had come out before the drinks as we did have to wait a while until we received them. They were delicious when they arrived though. We wish we'd heard a little more from the driver to know what we were passing. The travel cup souvenir was a very welcome surprise and we even brought our uneaten cakes home to have later! A very cute bus and many passers by took photos too!!

very enjoyable - We had the most wonderful afternoon on the tea bus. Service was exceptional and the staff were brilliant. Arshyat sunmisala (not sure about spelling. Driver Nelish. Just a bit of a muddle with the queuing at bus stops Would certainly recommend The Woodgate Family

Opportunities for improvement - We’ve had many great tours all over the world but this was not one of them The food was plentiful and accommodated a vegan diet, so that was a positive. A few of the staff were great, others not that friendly. We were disappointed that the person running the tour wouldn’t accommodate our request for a seat on the top deck. There certainly weren’t many people on the bus and while I wasn’t going to go up to the 2nd level myself, I felt I was brushed off by the staffer. The tour would have been more enjoyable if the music matched up with the beautiful pink bus we were in. Being in England, you’re thinking local music (we had been on an awesome Rock Legends Tour 2 days earlier). We had anything but that-certainly took away from the enjoyment.

Enjoyed but for wrong reasons - Went on the Golden Tours afternoon tea bus experience in London and what an experience it was ! 3 couple only on the bus and we were all upstairs in seats that were snug to for 2 people say the least. We were given a nice (plastic) glass of Prosecco and we were told to put it in the convenient hole in the table so it wouldn’t spill, guess what, it sloshed about so much as soon as the bus started going that most spilled. Food was ok, couple of tiny sandwiches and half a wrap, cupcake, scone with jam and cream, and couple of mini biscuits. To say it was a challenge to eat and drink anything whilst the bus kept stopping and starting is an understatement, but despite the spilled drinks, the ok food, it was fun, for all the wrong reasons. No information given on sites were passing so had no idea what we were seeing. Would be an idea to provide some sort of guide as to local landmarks etc, even if it is just a map on the tv screen which was there but not on. Best part of the experience for me was the soundtrack on the bus. S

Average - The bus wasn't clean enough. The bus was old, windows dirty, & smelled dirty. The speaker system was not good. Could barely here the person talking. The New York Tea Bus was very nice! Although, it was a good time.

Afternion of Disappointment - I was very excited about this experience. I have to saynI was VERY disappointed. There was no narration. I am a frequent visitor so I had a pretty good idea of where we were but if I did not know, it would have made me very frustrated.
