- Windsor Castle - Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King.
Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George’s Chapel. The Castle’s State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle’s royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor.
Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the Castle with a free multimedia tour. From October to March, visitors can also walk through the sumptuous Semi-State Apartments, which served as the private rooms of George IV in the 19th century.

We booked a day trip to... - We booked a day trip to Windsor Castle , Stonehenge , Bath it was great. Thank you for Kristsy so lovely she have a lot of knowledge and explain also fluent in Japanese and give Big Thank to the driver Sam.

Great tour, but not enough time at each site - All of the stops were memorable, both tour guide and driver were exceptional, but be prepared to have a long day, and you will be spending more time traveling than at the venue. First stop was Windsor, which doesn’t open until 9:45. We arrived at 9:15, waited in queue, passed through security…did not enter castle itself until 10:25. Had to be back on bus by 11:20 for departure, needed 10 minutes to walk to bus. Very rushed at each venue in order to make all three stops.

Viator sucks but the tour was fabulous. - The tour was incredible! Loved the company EvanEvans that actually put it on but Viator gave me zero details about how to find the group or when I should actually show up! I was there on time but ended up missing the bus. Luckily they put me with another group but I highly recommend booking straight through the company. I am really unhappy with my experience with Viator.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND - While we thought the guide (I think her name was Rowen?) and the driver were FANTASTIC... I would never recommend this tour (or probably the company in general). Why?... first off - the price you see ($132 pp or so) is just the bus tour. Once you've paid all the entry fees to the three stops - it is near $500/ per couple. It's a waste of money and time... they describe it as a highlight tour... there is literally no time to spend at Windsor or Bath... you have to run through the site to make sure you're in time to catch the bus. (They remind you several times that they will leave you.) Stonehenge was the only location we had proper time at (and it is great). Also on this 12 hour tour - there is no planned meal break. My wife and I skipped the BATH tour, just to eat.
You might say... well, maybe I should take a tour that is only 1 stop (or 2)... I have a feeling that they just reduce the time and you would, again, be running through the site. If your only goal is say "I've been there!" - then maybe this is the tour company for you... if not, there are other ways to see these sites and have them be more memorable.

Rushed to beat the buses and guide with poor attitude - The tour stops were amazing. The time was as expected limited but the tour guide nor the tour mentioned it would be less then 2 hours in each location. Our guide Omar was initially welcoming but as the day went on did not want to be bothered. Most of the trip he explained that we needed to hurry up and we had less then 2 hours already to beat all the other buses. It was a race to hurry to beat the other buses all day with an already limited schedule. Omar’s projected an attitude of not welcoming or happy with his job. It made the day longer and not as nice. The guide is the key to having a great day as we knew we were going to be rushed already but excited to see what we had in store. If I had any advice for Evan’s tours it is to ensure your guides are trained to smile be welcoming and have some joy to share with the visitors. We just came off tours in Ireland and Scotland and would say this was one of our worst for guides. Lastly Omar took the entire front row of seats so no passengers could sit up front after arriving early for the front seats. If this is an Evan’s Tours policy it should be advised prior to booking no front row seats will be allowed.

You must RUN and you may be LEFT BEHIND at your own risk - We went on this tour on August 17, 2024. There are 2 things I don't like.
1. STRICTLY PUNCTUAL. Our tour guide's name is Simon (picture attached). The first stop at Winsor Castle, a customer was left behind because he didn't return to the bus on time. Simon said, "I have no problem leaving people behind". That's a completely wrong attitude. I like punctuality but traveling should be fun, relaxing, enjoying, not stressful. Touring is not joining military, strictly discipline, waiting for people for a few minutes doesn't hurt. Besides, life is unpredictable. What if that customer had an accident somewhere? Show concern for the customer, not to revenge because he wasn't on time. That is too much.
2. TOO LITTLE TIME TO VISIT. Wherever we went, we had to RUN most of the time. We spent a lot of time sitting on the bus, not enough time to visit the places. Winsor: impossible to see the entire castle in an hour plus lunch. Stonehenge: you have to get a long line for shuttle bus in and out, only 10 minutes left to walk around the rocks. Roman bath: same, not enough time to go around.

Being screwed by Evan Evans - I remember being left highly stressed and sobbing all day. As a visitor I got the day wrong and your company were inflexible and uncaring. As I have saved for a long time to get here and this trip was all I wanted to do. I will never forget how upset I was.

Do not book this tour - Very disappointing. The description is very misleading. Most of the time was spent on the bus traveling. Once our destination was reached, we spent most of the time waiting in line to get in. Total time spent at our 3 destinations was less than 2 hours. Would not recommend.

Rush rush rush. No time to take a breath let alone sightsee - Not enough time to take in three attractions in one day.rush rush rush, the guide Maria did a great job informing us about the history of the venues but we spent our time queuing or rushing to catch the coach. Didn’t even get a chance to sit to eat a bite. Then to cap it off evans coach dropped us off a Gloucester Road miles from pickup point. Had to reschedule your journey home and missed our connection.
