Cute for kids - Arriving around 2pm, I immediately went to the restaurant where I had read that children could be served pasta with tomato sauce in the shape of a train. Unfortunately it was already finished, but this didn't demoralize us... On the contrary. If I had to recommend this museum to adults or parents with older children, I wouldn't. The price per entry is around 24 paunds, a bit high for what the museum offers, but if I understand correctly the ticket is valid for a year, so if you happen to go to London a couple of times a year all in all you you pay it back. The museum for my 5 year old was amazing. You have the option to sit and ride both the train and the London Underground. There's a bit of queuing to play, but it's worth it for the kids. There are buses and trains from various eras. The museum itself is very nice and well done, but honestly if you are not a transport enthusiast you can easily skip it

Great - Lots of information to learn about the history of the networks around London. Loved the driving the tube experience and loved seeing the old posters for the various networks. Seeing the buses and other artifacts was very interesting.

Great value and good for kids of all ages - Great way to spend 2-3 hours. Lots of things for children of all ages to do and see and learn about history of transport and London on general. Great value as kids are free and the adults ticket is an annual pass.

Fun, Interactive and Aha! - This is a home run way to spend time in a great location (Covent Garden) for families. From parents to kids, the museum has something for everyone to understand the history of London's public transportation, but with fun interactive games as well. We spent a very enjoyable afternoon here, and you'll come away knowing that much more about London's underground, double-deckers and black cabs.

Great place to spend a few hours with young kids - This is a great little museum with lots to see and do especially with young children. The role play areas in particular are very suited to younger children. The little activities, like collecting all the stamps are quite engaging, although a few of the interacting displays were broken and seemed to be for a while. The cafe had a good, if pricey, selection of food and drinks.

Underwhelming and expensive - Very much geared towards children rather than adults with most of the place being filled with interactive exhibits, very little in the way of actual vehicles. The museum is just one big hall with a few buses and trains in it, some of which you can sit inside but most are closed off. The stamp trail encouraged you to explore but I saw many kids struggling with it: the stamps were often too high for them to use and too heavy to push, so their parents had to do it for them. Afterward I found out there was no reward for the trail which was disappointing. Very overpriced shop which was a shame as there were many things I would have loved to buy but just couldn't afford.

disappointing and expensive for the experience - I visited the museum with my 3 yr old grandson at 10 am on Monday morning . Since my last visit several years ago the experience has become more limited . It was very disappointing not to be able to get into and sit inside to experience the old buses and trains . The joy was always to climb up to the top of old double deckers or feel the interiors of different trains . There is now only one train carriage to enter and one small section of a tube train .The double decker bus is a new purpose built wooden one for under 7's with no sense of history . I also found the charge of £24 very expensive for the quality of the experience .

Better museums in London than this. - I found the museum a bit underwhelming. No option for a day ticket had to purchase an annual pass which was a bit expensive at £24 each. I would say this place is for families with young kids. It was the Saturday of half term when I visited - that was a mistake! Kids running wild everywhere. No space at tables to have a coffee as there were families camped out for the day with pre-packed lunches. I found it a bit boring to be honest. Saw the whole place in around 40 minutes and couldn’t wait to leave as it was so noisy. Lovely eldery gentlemen seemed to be working as volunteers was the best bit.
