Amazing staff - The staff were entertaining, especially younis, she was very eloquent. She entertained us while on the pier and advised us that the boat would be late, and gave my child a book to entertain himself through the journey. The journey was smooth and overall the staff were very considerate and helped us through the journey.

Great experience - Highly recommended. Entertaining boat ride on the River Thames. Better go outside the boat. Not expensive, not cheap..

Give staff some customer service training and tell them to stop being rude ! - Would have been quicker on the tube due to waiting for the right boat and queues however was lovely seeing the sights as we went to our destination. However I was shocked and disappointed by the rudeness of some ( but not all) of the staff on the boats. Mostly they were just very abrupt with tourists who may not speak English their first language or just trying to navigate an unfamiliar city. There was one guy who was really unnecessarily rude, staff don’t have name badges or anything that identifies them otherwise I would name him however he was on the boat that docked at Westminster pier at 18:45 on Saturday 10th August coming from Greenwich and was throwing the rope to dock and opening the gates at the back of the boat ( tall, Caucasian with brown hair with a gingery tone to the colour). As we docked at Embankment a tourist asked him if they should get off at the front or back of the boat. He had said a few times that the exit was at the front but only those immediately near to him would have heard that and you can’t hear the tannoy announcement clearly when outside. His response was an extremely curt ‘I’ve said that 5 times, THE FRONT’. The lady said she hadn’t heard him and he retorted ‘so now you want me to say it 6 times?!?’ His tone of voice was just awful and me and my partner, who were sat immediately next to them were just astounded by his rudeness. Yes it must get annoying saying the same things several times but maybe he shouldn’t be in the job if he doesn’t have any people skills. Some customer service training for the staff to remind them that being pleasant and having a smile doesn’t hurt plus better announcements that people can understand in all areas of the boat would help a lot.

No - Didn't get to get on the boat, waited at two individual piers but wait time was 2hours so was recommended to go to a different pier and was told the same. And refusing to give a refund even though I didn't receive the service

Disgusting experience on Uber boat - I was really disappointed with the attitude of one of your ticket checker in Embankment. We tried to use Freedom pass but rudely told us leave the queue as she told it was not valid on the user. I had to pay by 2 different cards to be allowed on the boat. After reaching london bridge, I told the ticket checker and he told us that we could have got discount on freedom pass.

Terrible communication and no easy way of getting information - We arrived where the boats collect/pickup at 10:45am. One member of our group asked an employee where the oystercard machines were then refused to tell her and waved her away. We were told we would board in 20 minutes but ended up waiting 45 minutes to be told we couldn't get on because there were 7 of us and 6 spaces (I understand it's for safety/legal reasons). This information isn't available until they start boarding so you have no way of knowing if you can get on or not. We finally boarded at 12:00.
