We’ll stop at London’s only functioning waterwheel, now part of a local market, where you’ll learn about an important monastery that once included a massive church on this site. We’ll continue along winding paths to one of South London’s most beautiful parks, rich in history, where you’ll learn about the industries that made some local inhabitants incredibly wealthy. We’ll then follow the river to an ancient village that has become part of London but has retained its charm, featuring one of the United Kingdom’s tallest trees and ponds teeming with wildlife. We’ll stop at a fantastic 17th-century village pub before heading back.
