Expect to mix different flours, master the best kneading techniques, and uncover all the secrets to achieving the perfect dough. There will also be a cooking demonstration of the sauce that will be served with the pasta, and the best method for cooking pasta to perfection, al dente.
Silvana is a fourth-generation artisan pasta maker from Naples. Her passion is to teach the fading art of making pasta entirely by hand, preserving rare pasta shapes from disappearing and helping pasta enthusiasts recreate the authentic Italian experience, using techniques passed down through her family.
