A funny and delightful tour! - Me and my friend really enjoyed this guided tour. We had David as a guide, a funny and charismatic guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and gave good tips about London in general. He spoke passionately about the history, it felt very natural and not rehersed. It was a funny and entertaining tour, would recommend! The beef eater was also very kind and engaging, we got to see where they live and hear many cool things about the tower! - the norwegian :)

Tower of London - David was a really good guide and a really funny, I would 100% recommend him, he was very informative and didn't need any kind of script and had the attention of the group at all times. The guide inside the tower was really good as well and the beefeater was very professional and informed of the history and current state of the tower and was very friendly.

Wonderful! - What a wonderful tour. Meeting and hearing the stories from the Beefeater was awesome. So many interesting stories and facts we would have never heard otherwise. I’m so glad we booked this tour, I would give it 10 stars if I could.

We interacted w/ 2 men... - We interacted w/ 2 men from City Wonders. The first, who checked us in was extremely helpful and patient. The second, named Peter- also from City Wonder, was confused and unable to answer basic such as Where is the Beefeater, or provide much info about the Tower while we waited 30 minutes. Disappointing. Nice inside the Beefeater, Gary was fantastic. I would rate the experience a 5 star but only b/c of the Beefeater, Gary and the kindness of the first guy. Unfortunately, I did not get his name but his job appeared to only be checking people in. Our tour was at 9:30 on September 8, 2024.

Tour guide, Natalie, was great! - Wonderful tour guide. We learned a lot from her and the Beefeater. Would recommend this tour. Not sure why I am being forced to say more before I can submit. I had nothing more to say.

This felt like a scam - do NOT book 🚫 - I don't know if I've ever left a one star review before ... Alas this is it. If I could give it zero stars I would. The "tour" before going inside the Tower was a joke. The guide (who admittedly was new but at least 55) had no idea how to take control of a crowd or lead us. He was late, to the point where other people from the company had to make apologies for him, as he was "familiarizing himself with the area". He didn't know what our tour entailed, nor the meeting points, and panicked. The To "kill time" he instructed us to all buy bottles of water ater from a local stand. He stumbled through some facts that were ACTUALLY written down on note cards in his pocket. He mumbled / whispered, saying he was more used to a microphone than projecting his voice. I booked this tour because I am a lover of history and wanted any additional insights I could get, but they were not to be given by him. He continually stalled for time, saying it was "free time" to take some photos before the Tower opened. Literally - he fumbled through two stories about William the Conquerer, and gave up. We stood silent after our *two minute walk* from the meet up point to the entrance. Then he said "I'm not sure what happens once you inside the sight, but I won't be here when you leave" - leading me to find someone who worked there for explanation. Once inside, the Beefeater was fabulous and had an amazing time. Would recommend skipping this "tour" which consisted of him leading us around the block and standing awkwardly silent for 25 minutes, and book direct through the Tower. The Beefeaters are amazing and engaging story tellers, and you do get to go behind some closed off areas, but for the cost I regret it. It's also quite difficult to get in touch with support; id love some money back for my 45 kind of wasted time -- waiting on him and then delivering absolutely nothing (eg - he said William the Conquerer landed in 1077 delclaring himself a new kid on the block and what not - before checking his cheat sheet, correcting himself, and saying IDK take some pics) Anyway, just want to warn any buyers that is absolutely a scam. You can get a free Beefeater tour every 30 - 60 mins after they open for free. We didn't get in early. Save yourself the money - the city is expensive enough!!
