- Burford - The day begins by departing London and travelling towards the quintessentially English countryside of The Cotswolds; an area that is famous for its beautiful landscape, charming villages and honey-coloured stone cottages. Our first stop will be the traditional town of Burford; known as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’. This is a historic place where many houses date back nearly 600 years and little has changed for centuries. During the visit there will be time to explore Burford, visit the magnificent church and stroll along the high street to visit a mix of independent family-run shops.
- Bibury - The village of Bibury is often described as the ‘prettiest village in England’. It’s charming scene is a snapshot of traditional English country life. Wander along the gentle river and see the iconic Arlington Row; a set of weavers cottages that are now one of the symbols of the Cotswolds.
- Bourton-on-the-Water - Our lunch stop is the charming settlement of Bourton-on-the-Water. The town’s river setting has seen it become known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’.
- Stow-on-the-Wold - We’ll continue through the countryside to Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest town in the Cotswolds that is a jumble of ancient inns & antique shops located around the bustling market square. This historic town was a place of inspiration for JRR Tolkien and is also where the last battle of the English Civil War took place in 1646.

This tour is currently our favoite. - All four of us ( 2 retired couples) had a wonderful experience. Chris was a great tour director and an amazing driver. Thank you × 4 for a great day!
The Cotswolds are amazingly beautiful. We had just enough time at each stop to enjoy these charming villages. We highly recommend this tour.

Memorable - Our driver Chris was wonderful and a great source of information. He played the best music too! We stopped at four small villages in the Cotswold and all were different experiences.

Love the Cotswolds! - Pick this tour if you want to see a great representative sample of the Cotswolds. Our guide/driver, Chris, was terrific. He provided interesting tidbits and helped each of the four villages come alive for us. Good balance across the day—stopping in villages vs driving through a bunch of even tinier areas. Last stop, Stow on the Wold, was boring and not worth the visit, but the other three are outstanding choices. This is not primarily a history tour so understand what you’re going to get to level expectations

Absolutely wonderful - Absolutely recommend it, lots of things to see, brand new 16 seats coach and our driver, Kevin, was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny.

Highly recommended Glen added so much flavor - This Was A Very Wonderful Tour which we highly recommend. Although a long travel day our guide Glenn was full of knowledge and made the trip very pleasant. So happy that we went.

Busy but memorable - Our guide Kevin was fantastic! Beautiful drive, beautiful villages, just really really busy. Somehow I thought they would be quiet and peaceful, but they were quite busy (Stow being the quietest). Great trip overall though and would recommend.

Trip spoiled by tour guide’s outburst!’ - Great trip and tour to the Cotswolds. Kevin was knowledgable, good driver and shared lots of information. However, at times he was rude and condescending to tourists and when the bus was overly hot and the air conditioning didn’t work correctly he actually yelled at everyone in the bus. He yelled “take off your jumpers if you’re hot and give them to the ones who are cold”. No one was wearing jumpers and no one was cold!! It was very hot!!
This spoiled the trip!! And was very disappointing!!
