ENJOYABLE EXCURSION!!! - This trip was simple to register for but there were a couple of frustrating items with Viator. When selecting a pick-up place, my confirmation page appeared with an 845 am pick-up time. However, that is the pick-up time for the first pick-up at the London Eye location. If you select the second location, Doubletree Hilton, the pick-up time is 910 am. Our guide/driver was John. He had a very atypical tour guide personality! John was friendly, polite yet extremely upbeat and informative with background information throughout the 11-hour day! It is evident that he truly enjoys his work/job. John was extremely patient with the different generations and nationalities who signed up for the tour - which can mean a lot. The van was comfortable and a nice size for the group that showed up. For those who sit in the back row, my peers could not figure out how to recline the seats. [They may not recline whereas the others do.] The timing and flow of the day is appropriate and un-rushed. While it takes a lot of time to get out of London, John provided ample facts as he drove us out of the slog. The Stonehenge visit was perfect since tour groups by-pass the massive traffic jam/line. Again, it is MASSIVE. Group buses and vans have a separate parking. This proves highly efficient and welcome. The allotted time at the property was on-point and for those who need a refreshment, the visitors center is very good. The drive to Bath provided a nice nap for those who needed a quick shut-eye. Bath was the highlight for me. While I would have preferred to overnight there, we had enough time to pick and choose what we saw. [Bridgerton fans have a few Easter eggs here!] And finally, the last stop is the Cotswolds. The weather was agreeable for us adding to the quaint and charming spot. Whilst private, this area is gorgeous and picturesque. Of note, my lack of sleep created a logistical hurdle. However, getting assistance was a breeze. I called the support number for the tour operator (the English Bus) and got immediate assistance from Chris. When I called a second time, he was not annoyed or irritated, but very helpful and reassuring. The tour company sends a welcome email after you book the tour. You should read it to understand the content: 1) the ticket to Stonehenge is not included so you pay the tour guide and 2) if you hope to see the Roman Baths in Bath, you need to purchase the ticket separately as well; maybe even purchase an advance ticket just to be sure. Three Cheers to the English Bus!

The antidote to your stressful life! - I had THE best fresh baked Almond Croissant in Burford!!! Warm, crispy and delicious - 2 school children told us where to get them. We saw 3 charming towns and our guide Cara was amazing! Cara worked hard, watched out for us, was a great driver and was always happy. Makes me wonder how she can stay that way dealing with tourists all the time!! A lovely tour, you'll want move there.

Great time at Stonehenge, Bath, and Cotswold village of Castle Combe. - Excellent tour. Our guide, Lucy Crane, was awesome ! Her archeology degree allowed her to give much more background than someone without such experience.

Book this tour! - We had a great time with Lucy. She is energetic and fun and she is full of knowledge. The tour is a full day and we were given enough time at every stop. The bus its self is very comfortable and its clean. The day of the tour, it was rainy & misty however, we still had a great time. We also stopped to see the Royal Cresent for a quick photoshoot.

Perfect Day Trip from London - This tour combined all the places I wanted to see on a perfect day trip from London. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining, with lots of great historical information to keep the drive from London interesting. I was pleasantly surprised at how close you can actually get to the stones at Stonehenge. I also loved exploring the quaint streets of Bath, and the city we visited in the Cotswolds (Castle Combe) was truly picturesque and charming. The itinerary was well-paced, allowing ample time at each location. Nothing felt rushed, but it also didn’t drag on. This tour is a must for anyone wanting to experience the beauty and history of England in a day. Highly recommend!
