Highlights
  • Trafalgar Square - Discover both the hidden and well-known treasures of Trafalgar Square. Delve into London’s history and the formation of Westminster City. We’ll also discuss King Charles and the monarchy. Capture some iconic photos while you’re here.

  • Admiralty Arch - Get an up-close view of Admiralty Arch and hear some intriguing gossip. See a building often criticized as an “offense to London architecture” and learn why the Mall is red as we head towards Buckingham Palace. Along the way, we’ll share tales of fraud, intrigue, and Westminster’s Gasketeers. This walking route reveals many hidden gems and monuments.

  • King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Memorial - Stroll along the red Mall beside St James’s Park to the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth monuments. Learn about their time at Buckingham Palace during the war, hear stories about the Queen Mother, and enjoy views of Westminster’s historic gas lamps.

  • St. James’s Palace - This Tudor marvel from the 13th century is rich with stories, from royal proclamations to ancient baby-swapping scandals. Discover its fascinating history as a former hospital and Tudor residence, and learn about its current uses. On specific days, it’s the best spot to witness the Changing of the Guard.

  • Pickering Place - If time allows, we’ll visit this charming courtyard, transporting you back to the 1700s. Explore Westminster’s smallest square and visit the oldest family-run business in the world, including England’s largest and oldest wine merchant and the shop where the Duke of Wellington bought his famous boots.

  • Buckingham Palace - Walk past the iconic Buckingham Palace and its Golden Monument to Queen Victoria. Take selfies in front of the palace and hear stories from Queen Victoria’s era, the palace’s history, and why King Charles III doesn’t reside there. Don’t forget to ask about the King James Mulberry bush. There’s also time for photos and a climb up the golden Victoria Monument.

  • St. James’s Park - Enjoy a relaxing walk in London’s best-kept Royal Park, St James’s Park. Learn about the park’s history, exotic animals, and its connection to St James’s Palace. Capture classic views from the Blue Bridge and discover the park’s wildlife, including White Pelicans, exotic geese, and royal swans. Ask about the unique tradition of Swan Upping.

  • Houses of Parliament - Our final stop is this UNESCO World Heritage site. See Big Ben in the Elizabeth Tower, the recently renovated Westminster Palace (Houses of Parliament), Westminster Great Hall, Westminster Abbey, and the Supreme Court. Parliament Square offers views of the River Thames, the Shard, and the London Eye. You’ll receive a souvenir map of our walk, and I’m available to answer questions about your next destination, cheap theatre tickets, and dining recommendations.

  • Changing of the Guard - If the guard is changing, we’ll head to St James’s Palace for a view. This usually happens on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 11 am but can be canceled at short notice. We always pass by St James’s Palace.

Excellent Tour! - Friendly and informative tour. The small group size makes it easy to speak to Laura, the guide, who is knowledgable and entertaining. Good length as well, which is a major consideration with kids. My wife and I and our two boys (10 and 6) had a great time, and Laura even gave us an excellent recommendation for lunch!

The best tour guide in London!!! - This was one of the best walking tours I’ve ever done! Laura is so knowledgeable about London and she shared so many unique, fun facts! She likes to keep the group size small which I really appreciated as it allowed us to be more flexible in what sites we saw. She has such a love for London and was such a joy to be around. I took her tour this morning and I have already recommended her to multiple friends! I look forward to doing more of her tours on my next trip to London!

How a tour should be - Really interesting and fun, being a small group I could always hear our guide and was not jostled or having mic inflicted on me like the larger tours. This is exactly how a tour should be
