Can't *not* experience this history... - Hayley was an excellent guide, balancing informative commentary with a relaxed pace that kept us engaged without overwhelming us. Antonio, our driver, was warm, welcoming, and skilled, ensuring a comfortable ride. Stonehenge was impressive but crowded, while Avebury offered a more peaceful, authentic experience. We enjoyed both exploring both the stone circles and the village of Avebury itself. West Kennet Long Barrow was a fascinating, off-the-beaten-path site that provided a unique glimpse into ancient history. Highly recommend!

Ancient Sites - The trip to Avebury &Stonehenge was amazing and humbling! Michel our tour guide was fun knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I highly recommend him! We had plenty of time at the sites to take it all in. I will definitely use Anderson Tours again! I did feel badly that I didn’t have the correct currency to give a tip to Michel because he certainly deserved it! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Worth It! - It was a great experience. Getting to see the long barrow, Avebury Circle, and Stonehenge without having to drive or take a train was definitely worth it. The guide and driver were very knowledgeable and made the trip even better.

Not recommended - Our guide Richard gave little commentary while on the bus. At the first two sites he did a nice job for 30 to 45 minutes at each site. At Stonehenge he turned us over to the audioguide. He spent a lot of time on the bus talking about the job etc. with driver Brandon, not giving much commentary. Driver Brandon responded to me only with grunts and no eye contact until I thanked him while disembarking at the end. He then made eye contact, smiled and extended his hand for the hoped for tip. He grumbled about people being a couple minutes late ( I was not). Also - We spent about 90 minutes by the side of the motorway (no shoulder) behind the guardrail exposed in very cold windy weather, due to a flat tire. Some passengers shivering. The attitude from Richard was thank you for understanding. Any espirit de corps was only from fellow passengers. Not a word of apology for our discomfort, also poor communication. I realize that things like flat tires are part of life, but it could have been handled much better.

Great sights. Different tour group. - The places were wonderful to see. The bus had a flat tire and the group had to stand in the side of the motorway for an hour. It was cold and windy. The tour guide (Richard) wasn't very helpful. He talked to the bus driver almost the whole trip and ignored the group. The sights were great. Look into a different tour group.

Sights great, choose a different company - The guide and the bus driver talked to each other most of the trip (Richard and Brandon). Richard gave pertinent facts at the sights, but otherwise seemed uninterested in the travel group. He didn't even have us introduce ourselves. Guide was a minimalist, and the driver was somewhat of a curmudgeon most of the trip (especially on a phone call to his boss). Also - we had a flat tire 30 min out of London and had to wait in the cold on the side of the freeway for an hour and a half. You would think the company/guide would give some compensation for that. Maybe a hot chocolate at the first stop, or at least an apology for the inconvenience. The only thing I heard was the guide saying he was glad we weren't mad at him. Seems a little self-serving. The locations we saw were wonderful. But maybe choose a more reliable company.
