Exceeded all expectations! - We had a great time on the Joe Strummer tour! Very thorough history of the locale and fascinating insight from a true local ((Aidan) as to what the scene was like that led to the clash (and many other bands) being formed! Highly recommend this tour!!

Absolutely worth it. - This was a spectacular tour if you're a big Clash nerd like me or a music nerd like my Father In Law. Hanging out with Aiden was like talking music with an old friend, except that he actually lived through it and could relay personal stories which made the whole experience so much richer from where we stood. We were where The Clash were in photo after photo we stood where they stood, we saw where they played, where they ate, where they fought and it was awesome. I cannot recommend the tour highly enough. Just do it.

One of the best experiences ever! - This is a phenomenal experience. You get to see tonnes of really cool locations and hear the inside story behind them. Aidan is a passionate man with fire in his belly, Strummer knowledge in his hedge and compassion in his heart. I'm not old enough to have seen The Clash live but I saw Joe Strummer in various solo incarnations. I feel blessed to have been able to see him live and I feel blessed to have been able to go on this tour. It's one of the best experiences of my life.

Strummer walk - Booked the tour for my partner who enjoys The Clash for his 60th. Aidan was very knowledgeable about the area and had lots of interesting facts and stories because he had grown up in the area too. We would defiantly book another tour as very enjoyable tour, thank you

A great tour for music and history fans - Aidan’s enthusiasm and history for music (Joe Strummer) and its connection to the area make for a great walking tour. He brings his own local experience as someone who also grew up in the area. This was a great way to spend a few hours.

The StrummerWalk Can’t Fail - Easily the most fascinating walking tour I’ve been on. I’m a huge fan of Joe Strummer and The Clash and am deeply interested in London’s music history more generally. As someone who was not alive during the mid-to-late 1970s, I appreciated the chance to learn about what Ladbroke Grove and W9 were like during that time and how they’ve changed. The tour offered interesting everyday life perspectives on the significant places associated with Strummer and The Clash as well as the wider social context in which Joe lived and made music. Aidan is a highly knowledgeable and engaging guide with a refreshing sense of humour. Anyone who is curious about the city’s music and cultural history will enjoy this tour and learn new insights. Strongly recommended.

An absolute must for all fans of the only band that matters - Myself and my best pal joined The Strummer Walk on Saturday 18th May 2024, and what a brilliant decision it turned out to be. I’ve been on guided tours before, but nothing compares to this tour. Our host Aiden was like a close friend after just a few minutes in his company and was so knowledgeable on all things Strummer and The Clash. We actually learned quite a few new facts on a subject that we thought we knew inside out having followed the band since 15 years of age ( we’re now 60 years old). Aiden is local to the area, being born and raised there and has many interesting stories and anecdotes revolving around the band and the whole area around Ladbroke Grove. He managed to keep us interested for well over two hours, sharing his knowledge, personal experiences and factual accounts that we thoroughly enjoyed. We saw everything that we could wish to see including Joes house and the squatters houses in Ladbroke Grove and Elgin Grove. I’m sure we could have spent the whole day with Aiden, his stories were so gripping, at times it was almost like we were back in the late 70’s and early 80’s at the heyday of the band. We even went for a drink with Aiden at the end of the tour and fully enjoyed his company. Thank you Aidan, the tour was unforgettable . We shall recommend you to any Clash fans that we meet along the way. Absolutely a five star tour ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great look at the man and his times - I had a great time with Aidan on the Strummer Walk. He was a great guide, giving the history of the area as well as Joe's story. i liked that Aidan didn't build up his own story; he admitted that the only time he ever saw Strummer off the stage was buying weed at the betting shop. I was so attentive throughout the whole tour that I hardly even took any photos!
