Fascinating, Macabre and a great laugh! - Excellent! Brilliant little macabre walking tour, packed with interesting history and stories. Our two guides on the night performed their roles perfectly. Very engaging and a good laugh!

Superb experience ! - Fantastic insight into a very different area of London - Southwark . Really entertaining and informative , but not for the faint hearted. Loved all the stories and meeting the characters along the way . Most enthusiastic tour guide ever 😃👍

Very good experience - First time I have visited Southwark and London south of river Thames. The tour was a lively and engaging experience, worth 3 hours interesting stories. Dress well wintertime.

Excellent evening in Darkest Southwark - Brilliant way to spend a dark Saturday evening. As a London born and bred, it's always fascinating to find out about the past of our native city - even though some of it is pretty gruesome, (ok most of it when talking about the Middle Ages). Great Guides, informing us in fun and interactive ways. A night not forgotten and definitely recommended to all and sundry. Would love to do another tour and learn even more, so please keep us updated if you add another. Thank you for a fab evening!!

Enormously entertaining - and not just for tourists! Loved it! - In short, I strongly recommend this tour as it was 2 highly entertaining hours of curiosities, historical interest and comedy. In the back of my mind, I knew Southwark used to be grim, but I didn't quite appreciate.....JUST HOW GRIM! (I haven't whinged about anything trivial in the day since!) The 2 host/actors were really engaging, super fun and extremely knowledgeable - answering the group's questions showing really, really impressive knowledge. delivered with energy and enthusiasm. Loved it!!!!!

Highly recommended - but not for the squeamish! - My teenage nephew and I were on a sightseeing trip to London and needed something interesting to do on the evening. There were a whole host of options available, but we landed on this - and we were so glad that we did. The team running the event struck that perfect balance of being fun, knowledgeable and engaging. There was a great narrative throughout the evening, with each stop adding more colour to the story as things got progressively more bleak for the people of South London at the time. A real revelation of several hundred years of history told in gruesome detail! For those wondering, there wasn't too much walking from stop to stop, but each location was different and you got to see plenty of historic sites and how they have changed into the modern era.

Perfectly horrifying and just the right amount of disgusting - The tour was well paced, interesting and fantastically entertaining. Our tour guide Mary was just the right amount of theatrical, easy to hear and really knowledgeable. Not too much walking that your feet hurt but just enough to see loads of different sites. Can’t recommend it enough! Had a great day out
