Great First Tour - The Queens Diamond Jubilee room was fantastic and a must see for everyone. The many small chapels especially the Lady’s Chapel were a highlight. The tour was well planned and hit the major highlights of the Cathedral in 3 hours.

Behold Westminster Abbey! - Kim our guide had exceptional knowledge of Westminster Abbey history and the items in the Jubilee Galleries. If a guest asked a question Kim knew the persons name by the time that person asked another question. I must correct a comment I made to Kim that a digital recording of Stephen Hawkins was sent into space on a satellite. A synthesyized recording of a speech given by Stephen in 1975 about preserving the planet was transmitted via a satellite dish in Spain into space towards black hole 1A 0620-00.

The history and stories here are amazing - Mary did a wonderful job on the tour, very knowledgeable! The amount of history here is almost incomprehensible, especially coming from the States where “old” is 200-300 years tops
