It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King.
Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George’s Chapel. The Castle’s State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle’s royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV.
Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor.

- Please note: Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays . St. George’s Chapel is open for visitors on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays.
- As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice

Great tour and great tour guide - a taste of England beyond London - This was a great experience and trip in the English countryside. Richard was a fantastic tour guide, ensuring we had all the information we needed to make the most of each stop and make it to the motor coach (bus) after on time. He was kind and funny, and made the tour and time on the bus quite pleasant. He also speaks at least 5 languages and was accommodating for different groups on our tour.

Great Experience, definitely worth it - We were able to see all the sights as advertised with no problems. We were able to go to both sites available at Windsor Castle, Stonehenge was great and we were able to take in the whole thing with plenty of time, and Bath was beautiful and we got to explore the city for a bit afterwards. Our tour guide Richard was amazing and made the experience an unforgettable one! He was very knowledgeable about all the sites and made sure we stayed on track and got to see everything we came to see. He made sure to do his best to get to know each of us and make sure we had the experience we were hoping for.

Great 3 un 1 tour - Amazing time with Cameron as Guides and Greg as Driver. Very fun tour to get to know 3 in 1 day iconic places outside of London. Definitely recommend it and also recommend this guide and Driver too very fun.

You need to book it - worth it. - Rowan (? Spelling) was amazing! You can tell she loves England and its history. She has such great story-telling ability. I truly enjoyed her. She was super organized.
