Very Enjoyable Tour - Very Nice Tour. I have been on a lot of tours through various companies throughout Europe. The tour guides are usually hit or miss. Some don’t care and some drone on forever as you stand in one spot for twenty minutes on a walking tour. Today’s guide (Phil) was probably the best I’ve had in years. The walking tour of Oxford was perfectly paced. We never spent too much time in one spot. Phil was very knowledgeable and made the entire tour interesting. When you sign up for a three-stop tour, you know you are not going to spend a lot of time at a single place. We spent 1.5, 2, and 1.5 hours in Oxford, Windsor, and Stonehenge, respectively. Overall, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable tour.

Thumbs up! - Our guide, Tom, was informative and had a good sense of humor. I was disappointed that we were not able to have a tour of Windsor castle. Overall, we did see many things.

Don’t book Windsor on Tue & Wed - it’s closed - Not sure why they let you book tickets to Windsor WITH ADDMISION on days when the castle is closed (Tue & Wed) but hey-ho, that’s what they did. So the most exciting part to see could not be seen, I had to rebook separately, just Windsor. Anyway, Stonehenge was good and the tour of Oxford, not much to do/see when pouring with rain but that’s no one’s fault.

Too rushed - It’s a nice tour however it’s very rushed. You don’t get to enjoy it. The time allocated for Windsor castle and Oxford is not enough to freely and comfortably enjoy it and see everything. Stone Hedge on the other hand got extra time that’s not necessary. Also the bus driver was super strict, talking about if you’re 1 min late we are leaving you behind. They didn’t care to walk to the bus and check in everyone was seated. This is the 1st time i experienced a tour like this. If you won’t allow people to enjoy this then don’t offer the tour

Great sites but too little time given to explore - whole the sites ate great to see the tour does not allow enough time to visit eg at Windsor Castle the audio tour is 120 min yet the tour allows 90 min. The tour guide is informative about the sites on the visited but do3s little to explain about sites along the way.

Disappointing - I was not impressed with this trip. It was very rushed, with very little time to enjoy or explore, or even grab a decent meal. Audioboxes rarely worked, and the entire time, the guide was providing consecutive Spanish translations, which got hard on the head. Windsor - we arrived 1/2 hour before the castle opened, and then had to stand in an extremely long line. If you go, buy your ticket on your own. You’ll get in faster. Tour guide took off so fast at least 1/4 of the group was left behind. I hadn’t planned to join her, because she was rushing to get to the State Apartments (I’ve been to Windsor and there are better spots than the Apartments). I ended up taking a small group around together with my mother. Changing of the Guard was also taking place, with little opportunity to see. Stonehenge - not enough time allowed when you account for time needed to get to and from the site in the minibuses. Oxford - This was the worst part of the trip. She tried to have a “walking tour” with the audio boxes not working and walking so quickly no one had time to stop and enjoy the place or get more than snapshots. I abandoned the tour after the first few minutes to go do some shopping and exploring. Overall it was a disappointing experience. It should probably be reduced to only two of the three sites, with a more relaxed approach. Finally, as the tour was concluding, the guide made a point of announcing that gratuities were not included and were “customary”. First, I find that rather classless. She can certainly say that gratuities are accepted and appreciated, but they shouldn’t be an expectation. Second, given that the tour cost almost $400 for two of us, I’m sure that the company is able to provide a reasonable wage to its employees. They should not have to beg for tips.

If you are looking to experience Windsor and Oxford...DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR - Don't book this tour if you actually want to SEE Windsor Castle and Oxford as you are not given anywhere near enough time and was a complete waste of the long bus ride and money. I wish I had some photos to post, but if you dare to take time to do anything you might miss the bus! Felt like I was running in the Boston Marathon

Worst Experience Ever - The Bus didn't show up at the meeting point but a nearby location. Even I arrived earlier than instructed but I couldn't find it. Me and my son missed the bus and couldn't do the tour that we paid for. It was extremely difficult to contact the staff and when I did reach them, they simply told me that there was no alternative tour I could take, and they also refused to refund me the cost of almost £200. Worse, it was my son's dream to visit Stonehenge and we came all the way from Viet Nam for this but we were left with great disappointment.
