Highlights
  • Windsor Castle - Your coach will leave from the designated meeting point at 8am sharp – make sure you’re there minimum 15 minutes before to check in! The first stop of your adventure will be the world’s oldest and largest occupied castle, Windsor Castle, where you will arrive at approximately 9:30am. With its sweeping landscaped gardens and a striking round tower, it’s easy to see why Windsor Castle is King favourite weekend residence. Enjoy wandering through the lavish State Apartments - home to priceless artworks by Rembrandt, Leonardo da Vinci and many more - and visit the beautiful St. George’s Chapel, the final resting place of former monarchs including Henry VIII and the wedding venue of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle! - St. George’s Chapel - Step inside St George’s Chapel, located on the sprawling grounds, where notorious King Henry VIII and his favourite wife, Jane Seymour, are buried, as are Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. St. George’s Chapel is one of the finest examples of gothic architecture in England. It has been the setting for many royal weddings and is the burial place of ten sovereigns. The Chapel is dedicated to the patron saint of the Order of the Garter. Britain’s highest Order of Chivalry. St. George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. These occur at the following times: 08:30 – Holy Communion 10:45 – Mattins and Sermon 11:45 – Sung Eucharist 17:15 – Evensong - Windsor Guildhall - This 17th-century historic masterpiece building is situated in the High Street, only 100 metres from Castle Hill. Prince Charles married Camilla Parket Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall at Windsor Guildhall in 2005. - Stonehenge - The true meaning of this ancient, awe-inspiring creation has been lost in the mists of time. Was Stonehenge a temple for sun worship, a healing centre, a burial site or perhaps a huge calendar? How did our ancestors manage to carry the mighty stones from so far away and then, using only the most primitive of tools, build this amazing structure? Surrounded by mystery, this prehistoric monument never fails to impress! - Bath Abbey - Standing proudly on the slopes of the River Avon, beautiful Bath was the first city in England to be a designated UNESCO World Heritage site in its entirety. The city’s stunning honey-coloured Georgian architecture, the gorgeous 15th century Bath Abbey and the romantic Pulteney Bridge (modelled on Florence’s Ponte Vecchio) are all sights you’ll want to linger on! - Pulteney Bridge - Pass by the romantic Pulteney Bridge, modeled on Florence’s Ponte Vecchio. - The Roman Baths - No tour of Bath would be complete without a visit to the famous Roman Baths that gave the city its name. This beautifully preserved bathing complex still flows with water from Britain’s only hot spring. Get a glimpse of how the Romans liked to unwind and see for yourself if Bath’s waters really do have healing powers by tasting a sip in the Pump Room, a stunning neo-classical salon. - *Golden Tours - Golden Tours is London’s foremost sightseeing company. Stonehenge Trip - Bus was comfortable, driver capable, tour guide was knowledgeable and kept us on time. I'm glad I did this tour and it makes it easier to do this once in a lifetime kind of trip. We didn't get admission to Bath so we just walked around and I was able to find Slippery Lane. (medieval remnant of Bath)

Wet and wild - We loved Stonehenge. It was raining and we got saturated. It was such an English experience. Oliver our guide taught us that there is no bad weather in England, only the wrong clothes worn.

Highly Recommended! - We had a fabulous time as a family at Windsor, Bath and Stonehenge. My family of 5 with kids aged 15/13/11 also had a great time. The full day took 12 hours with a bus ride of 1-2 hours between each stop. At first, they were not excited by a full day and bus tour, but they loved it. Our tour guide Apolonia and driver Jamil were great. Apple was so fun and engaging for the whole family, and she shared great history and insights. I was glad we did not buy tickets to the Roman Baths as I wanted more time to explore the beautiful town. Overall, highly recommend! Nice job, Apple!

What You Need to Know Before You Go - I would recommend this tour but there are a few things you need to know: 1. It is a long day-10 to 12 hours. It is rain or shine- we had pouring rain the whole time and were totally drenched even with raincoats and umbrellas. I insisted my husband at least pack an extra pair of socks. I did too. He was glad he could at least out on dry socks. You are not permitted to stay on the bus(the driver has to rest alone). 2. We went to all three places. Each place is crowded-not much you can do about that. Windsor especially was rushed for time. We literally zipped through it skipping over slot and had 5 minutes remaining before we had to be on the bus. 3.**The bus WILL leave you-it left 2 people. They were able to get on the bus that was after us and catch up at the next stop. 4. Pack snacks and water. There was no time at all to eat. The lines were so long we would have missed the bus. We thought it would be a good idea to get a tour where we could see all three places(Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath). I appreciated the fact that we were in a comfortable coach bus with a very good guide/commentator and that my husband did not have to rent a car and drive on the “wrong” side of the road; (we’re from The USA). You might consider finding a tour for just Stonehenge and Bath as they are farther from London and book a single tour just for Windsor castle and/or something in addition close to Windsor.

3 big ticket items in 1 day - Windsor Castle and the surrounding town was picturess. The audio guide was really worthwhile to guide you through the State Rooms. Bath was lovely and I could easily spend more time there. Stonehenge was more interesting than I expected it to be. Great day!

Not good - Not a good trip- too much wasted time standing in line especially at Windsor. There was more bus time than time at the sights.

Itinerary was too jammed. Not enough time for actual site visit and exploration. - Too much packed into the itinerary. Next time I would do Stonehenge and Bath and would want more time at Bath. Then Windsor Castle separately. Except for Stonehenge, we were rushed and did not fully enjoy Bath or Windsor Castle. I would recommend not offering all three stops in one 12 hour tour. Most of our time was either standing in line or on the bus. Our tour guide was excellent….her name is Apple.
