History Lesson and War Room Tour - A great morning - our guide Danny was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and able to give us a history lesson second to none! As a side "tour" we were able to catch the changing of the guard. Danny was also very polite and was checking regularly to ensure our needs and wants were met! If possible I highly recommend you ask for Danny by name. You won't be disappointed!

First rate walking tour! - Excellent walking tour for history buffs! Our guide was very knowledgeable & amiable. At the end of our guided experience, our tour guide checked us in at the underground WWII war rooms tour. This portion was self guided with an audio component. I liked that we could spend as much or as little time as we wanted in each section of the tour.

This tour is a must see... - This tour is a must see if you find yourself in London. We aren't museum people, but had trouble seeing everything we wanted to see before we needed to leave for another outing. Peter was our guide and was very interesting to listen to and had answers for everything we asked him.

Pouring rain didn’t stop this guide nor the interest and the subject! - Judd was excellent! He knew his history of Winston and of England. He was a storyteller of history, understanding all the little quirks, success, failures of Winston Churchill, He was real and made a big difference in World War III and much more. It was pouring rain, but he made it work so well finding cover while he told stories and making it work I would not have canceled even spite the rain

Churchill walking tour. - For the amount of time, devoted to walking, there could’ve been more information shared. Our guide was very knowledgeable, but he did not present himself well.

Less than advertised but higher priced - When I read a tour that says three hours I expect to be with the tour guide for three hours. And if that’s not the case it should be stated more clearly. Our guide Peter was a lovely man and the only reason this is 2 stars instead of one is because he did his best and was very kind and knowledgeable. That said, there was minimal information about the Houses of Parliament or the origin and purpose of parliament square besides talking about who the statues portray. For almost $200 US this is very overpriced for what you get.

Guide was a no show - My tour was scheduled to start at 9 AM. I arrived at the meeting place at 8:15 AM. By 845 No one had shown up from the tour company so I contacted viator as well as the tour company (WALKS UK) direct. I was told I was at the correct meeting place. By 9 o’clock they had still not shown up so I called back and they attempted to reach the guide, but were unable to. I was told that I would have to contact viator for a refund. I reached out to viator and they contacted the tour company and I was told that my request for refund was denied because I was at the wrong meeting place. I had attempted to confirm the meeting place the evening before the tour and never received a response so I went to the place listed on viators voucher which was the royal Air Force memorial. I’ve been a travel agent for 30 years. I use Viator for many if my clients tour. Sadly, after this episode, I will be using one of the many other tour companies offered. Fortunately, I was able to still get a ticket into the museum after speaking to a ticket agent at the Churchill war rooms. She did comment that they have had a number of issues with this tour company.

Poor communication with tour guides - Make sure you have the contact information with who is doing your tour as we were misdirected to the wrong meeting spot andnever able to contact our tour director. We sent several emails to the Vaitor site but never got a response so we ended up paying for the entrance into the Churchill war rooms after waiting for two hours to try to catch up to our tour guide.
