100% Would Reccomend - My American friend and have never been to Manchester before so we were looking for a way to know the secret foodie spots and local history of this amazing city. We booked our food tour a few days in advance and we loved it. Sandra our local guide was knowledgeable and entertaining and made our tour exactly what we were expecting. At the start of the tour we were treated to a local gourmet donut which was delicious, followed by an amazing and authentic fish taco in Mackie Mayors, a delicious beef brisket hash was then followed by the most exquisite and delicious luxury sausage roll (all locally produced and made in interesting historic venues). We concluded the tour at an artisan ice cream parlour which was also delicious. A tour I would absolutely recommend to anyone. We had some local Mancunian's (is that the right word?) who also said that they enjoyed the tour and didn't know some of the local history we were treated to. In all a totally enjoyable experience. Well done, and thanks.

Great experience! - Absolutely loved this ! My friend and I have lived in Manchester all our lives and today we learnt so many fascinating facts - which I won’t share with you now as it will spoil it. We chatted and laughed and enjoyed each other’s company Steph was a terrific guide and the food choices were excellent (I’m still full!). I absolutely recommend this tour and can’t wait to book onto the Ancoats one.

Great family day out, well organised with a very knowledgeable guide and fantastic food stops - A family Xmas present, a group of 7 adults. Steph was fantastic, 6 of the group have / are living in Manchester. New places visited, great food eaten. This is our second family day out and hopefully we will be doing our third next year. Can’t recommend enough

A delicious way to explore the city - We had an excellent time on the Eat the City tour. Steph was a great guide - knowledgeable, friendly and relaxed. At no point did we feel rushed (or, more importantly, bored), and we enjoyed meandering across the Northern Quarter and beyond, sampling some delicious food and learning new things about the city we love. The vegetarian options were all great, but the absolute highlight was the first sit-down stop (I won't give away any spoilers, but I can't stop thinking about it...) Thanks to Steph for a great afternoon!

A fantastic and very interesting food tour - My partner and I recently went on the food tour, and we had a fantastic time. Rob, our guide, is down-to-earth and incredibly friendly. His extensive knowledge of Manchester and its diverse food scene made the experience even more enjoyable. We were met with a delicious sweet treat to begin, setting the tone for the rest of the tour. We visited a real variety of places across the city centre, sampling both sweet and savoury food. As we went round Rob would stop and speak to us about the location we’re at pointing out interesting features of buildings and describing its history . He also brought his iPad and compre what places used to look like the in past compared to now. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, whether you're a tourist or a local. It's a great way to explore Manchester's culinary offerings and history with an independent and passionate guide

Fabulous experience combining gastronomic exploration together with learning more about the history of Manchester - Rob who is the founder of this Tour experience is a really fun and interesting guy, who kept us entertained and interested throughout the tour. We visited a number of very interesting food venues, and sampled some dishes that ordinarily I would not have experienced! I really enjoyed the combination of exploring different flavours together with learning more about the history of Manchester! Everything ran very smoothly, and I had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon! We were also very fortunate to have lovely weather. Highly recommended as an experience to share with family and friends or business colleagues! I think the tour offers good value for money! Jane 👏👌👍🙂
