A Grand Tour of my home City - Absolutely cracker of a tour around my home city. What our guide Joe doesn't know about Manchester isn't worth knowing. History pop, who's who, and where. What hidden signs mean, street stuff etc we heard the lot! And with a wry sense of humour too.

Fantastic tour with Joe despite the rain - We booked last minute as the weather forecast wasn't great and there were only 4 other people braving it with us. We had a fantastic 3 hour walk with Joe and although our brollies went up a few times, it didn't hamper the experience. We discovered so much about Manchester's history and loads about it's music scene, visiting sites that were once important but sadly now closed down. Joe is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his city and this made the tour even more interesting. I'm so glad we booked and recommend this walking tour if you are in Manchester.

A fun and informative tour. - We really enjoyed Joe's tour. It was very informative and also fun with plenty of music references. Great for those who are fans like us of Manchester's brilliant music. We could have taken another (busy) tour, but me and my wife had him all to ourselves! We never knew we knew so little about Manchester either! Highly recommended.

Hidden secrets of Manchester music in a few hours - Joe was a very personable guide and tailored the tour specifically to our interests. There were only four people on this Sunday afternoon tour, and someone less professional might have just phoned it in, but Joe treated us exactly as he would a group of 20. He accommodated one of my specific requests even though it required a little extra work on his part. Overall, an excellent experience.
