I Can't Recommend This Highly Enough! - This tour was absolutely magical! We were 2 couples traveling together and we did this tour after spending 3 days in Athens and then a 3-night island hopper cruise. George was our driver and he was so WONDERFUL! He picked us up at the port where our ship docked and we were on our way. George explained so many things about what we were seeing along the way as well as just general things about Greek life and culture. The first day was pretty packed with sightseeing and we were also tired from the active pace of our cruise (5 islands in 3 days), so when we saw the BEAUTIFUL hotel that we were staying in the first night (The Europa in Olympia) we decided we wanted to just relax around the pool the next morning. George was fine with that, he kept stressing that it is our vacation and he was there to show us what we wanted to see and take us where we wanted to go at our pace. After a restful morning we were ready to go! This tour was so much better than renting a car and driving ourselves! We didn't have to worry about directions or getting lost or driving in a foreign country. We were all very comfortable and could just sit back, relax and see everything along the way. George gave us as much time as we wanted at every stop and recommended great local restaurants without pushing certain ones like some tours do. We were really free to do whatever we wanted to. He would drop us off right at the entrance to sights and pick us up right at the exit, we would just call or text to let him know when we were ready. It was really like VIP treatment. We never felt rushed, but we also felt like we saw way more than we expected to see. If we were driving through a quaint little mountain town and wanted to stop he would pull over and let us look around. All the hotels we stayed in were lovely with beautiful views, clean rooms and great service. In Meteora (a spectacular place!) there was a picture in our room of one of the monasteries and I told George I would like to take a similar picture . He asked the caretaker of the guesthouse where it was taken and then drove us there so I could get the shot! Now that's service!!!! I can't recommend this tour and George highly enough.

Making the most of your time and experiencing what inland Greece has to offer - George provided us a memorable experience on this tour. We never felt rushed at any of the stops and he was very accommodating for any side requests, yet he was able to keep us on schedule. He was very good at drop-off and pick-up points very near the sites, much closer than the bus tours could do. His recommendations for local flavors in all the towns we visited were spot on. This tour involves some hours in the car, and he was able to field every little question we had about Greece during our "road trip" portions. The day after this tour we had an afternoon tour out of Athens that was canceled at the last minute; we were so comfortable with George that we reached out and were lucky enough that he was available for another half-day to the place our scheduled tour was cancelled. Thanks to George for completing our time in Greece and making it such an enjoyable experience!

Wonderful tour of ancient and modern Greece - Six of us booked two tours through Olive Sea Travel. One tour included the ancient sites of Corinth, Olympia, Delphi, and Epidavros, and the monasteries perched on the rock pillars of Meteora. The other tour was of Athens. Both tours were wonderful. We loved our driver and guide, Andreas, who was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable about both the ancient and recent history of the area. I highly recommend these tours.

Memorable experience - We just returned from our 4-day tour and it was an incredible experience for the entire family. I believe it is the only way to visit Greece. Our driver Alexandros was the best! He was pleasant, funny, attentive, nothing was ever a bother for him, always accommodating, always smiling and very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make our experience a positive one despite the extreme heat and the limited opening hours of some sites. Olive Sea also helped us secure licensed tour guides at each site and it is a must. The details and history provided was excellent and made us better understand and appreciate what we were visiting. The only suggestion I would make is choose your own hotels if you are particular about where you stay.
