- Paliachora Aiginas - As the medieval capital of Aegina, Paliachora Aiginas boasts 28 surviving churches with remarkable wall paintings. Visitors can capture stunning photos from the mountain’s summit.
- Agios Nektarios Monastery - This is one of the largest Orthodox monasteries in Greece and the Balkans. The Holy Trinity Monastery, featuring the church of Agios Nektarios, is a major attraction in Aegina, drawing believers for worship, prayer, and healing. Agios Nektarios, a modern saint of the Orthodox Church, was known for performing miracles during his lifetime. The monastery, established in 1904, was where he spent his final years. Below the monastery is the new church of Saint Nektarios, one of the largest in the Balkans, completed in 1999, featuring exquisite mosaics and marble carvings.
- Temple of Aphaia - Perched on a hill at 160 meters and surrounded by pine trees, the Temple of Aphaia is renowned for its unique energy. It has been a sacred site since prehistoric times, flourishing during the Archaic period with three successive temples built on the same spot. The current temple, constructed between 500-490 BC, replaced a previous one damaged by fire in 510 BC. The Aegineans rebuilt it to showcase the “Aeginean” School of sculpture. The temple, completed in 500 BC, is a prime example of archaic architecture, famous for its pediments adorning both narrow sides. Along with the Parthenon and the Temple of Sounion, it forms an imaginary isosceles triangle, known as the sacred triangle of antiquity.
- Paralia Agias Marinas - Agia Marina beach is the longest sandy beach on Aegina island, proudly awarded a Blue Flag. Besides the main beach, there are numerous secluded bays perfect for diving from stunning rocks. Visitors can enjoy swimming, shopping, and dining here.
