• Preveli Palm Forest - The Palm Beach of Preveli, also known as the Lake of Preveli, is situated at the mouth of the Mega River, which is fed by the majestic Kourtaliotiko Gorge.

Before heading to the beach, a brief stop is made to capture photos of the stunning springs, a unique natural wonder due to its landscape. The combination of the towering vertical cliffs of the gorge, the river with its emerald waters, and the distinctive palm tree forest creates an enchanting atmosphere. It is considered the most romantic beach in Crete.

A walk of approximately 25 minutes down steps offers an unforgettable opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea, beside the tropical river, bask in the sun, and wander through the exotic palm tree forest.
