Before heading to the beach, there is a brief stop to capture photos of the stunning springs, a truly unique natural setting. The landscape, with its towering vertical cliffs of the gorge, the river’s green waters, and the distinctive palm tree forest, creates a magical ambiance. It is considered the most romantic beach in Crete.

A walk of nearly 20 minutes down the steps offers an unforgettable chance to swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea, beside the tropical river, bask in the sun, and wander through the exotic palm tree forest.
