Teachers make the best guides - Nicolaus’s background as a history teacher truly showed. Very intelligent and knowledgeable guide. Would highly recommend him.

Fascinating Island! - Excellent excursion! Delos is very interesting and unique. The history is so different from other archaeological sites we have visited. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. You need a guide for this site. I have mobility issues, so this was difficult for me, but very much worth it. The ferry ride to and from the island was a beautiful and relaxing trip. The ferry, at the Mykonos end, is located in an area that is pedestrian only. A few years ago, I would barely have noticed the walk, but now, especially at the end of the tour, I did find it very difficult. Our driver was excellent and even convinced security to allow him to drive a little way into the pedestrian zone to assist me. Overall, driver and guide were both fantastic. Finding our driver when we left our ship was quick and easy, and we returned to our ship with plenty of time to spare before departure.

History lives within. - History really lives within. Visiting this sacred time is a must do, if you visit Mykonos for a few days, since the island is only accessible by Mykonos. Detailed guided tour amongst Ancient Greek heritage. Better have comfortable shoes, a bottle of water and a hat with you.

Great day in ancient antiquities - Had a great day visiting these ruins which were moore extensive than I would have expected. We had aa windy day, but the ride was not bad at all. Definitely worth the few dollars to hav a guided tour. It would have been very difficult to sort out the place without a guide.

Superb private tour - Don’t miss this remarkable tour by Nikolas - the author of a Delos guide book. We had a private tour with Nikolas- he handled everything so we didn’t have to wait in any lines but the best part was that since it was only my husband and I not only were all of our questions answered but we were also able to have discussions about this fascinating site. I would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent Excursion - Our guide, Marili, was amazingly knowledgeable, not only about Delos and its role in ancient Greek history, but also about archaeology generally. She made the most of our two hours on the island, and we left feeling that we had seen all the highlights learned the essential history.

Visit Delos With a Guided Tour - The additional price for a tour guide is worth it ignorer to glean the most of your visit to Delos. Without it, we would have been a bit overwhelmed. Alexandra was a wonderful guide, easy to understand, great stories to share and answered our questions. Just wish we had engaged a longer tour. There is so much to see!

Booked through viator a trip advisor booking system ! - Absolutely superb trip to Delos , we took the half day trip , and our tour guide Angela went out of her way to assist us as somehow we booked for 2019 online instead of 2018 , she quickly arranged our pickup and we enjoyed the trip immensely, a micro explanation of the site and its history , just not long enough !

Excellent guided tour...5 star! - We booked our tour from Mykonos via Keytours. The administration was straightforward with clear instructions on where to meet at the old port. Our guide, Anastasia, was fantastic! She spoke of the historical context and the importance of Delos as an international port. Even my 12 year old son stayed tuned in the whole time! Our arrival at Delos was a bit chaotic with hundreds of visitors having to be divided into different tour groups each with a guide, however this lasted a short time. You can visit the island without a guide but I wouldn’t recommend it, as the site is vast. It was very hot and there was no shade so a hat, suncream and water supplies are a must. There is a bar but it’s very expensive, 5 euros for an ice-cream. Be warned!

Lots of ruins - An area with many ruins, some still intact over a quite wide area, we had a guided 1 and 1/2 hour tour which covered maybe 1/3 of the area. Getting their in rough seas can challenge some, a windy day will create it
