Highlights
  • Santorini Tours - Discover the most distinct local wineries and traditional cellars of Santorini through a unique 4:30-hour wine-tasting journey tour and authentic traditional settlement with historical houses, blue-domed churches, and old mansions during your winery tour. Taste 12-14 glasses of wine from our three wineries, which are on our list and available on the day.

  • Estate Argyros - The beautiful and modern Argyros winery estate is located on the outskirts of Episkopi-Gonia, about 5.5 km southeast of Fira. Argyros’ spacious tasting room with ocean views is located in the heart of their grape estate. As with most wineries in Santorini, the main grape variety produced and used here is the white Assyrtico grape, although Argyros is also used to make a delicious Aydani wine. Their ruby-red Mavrotragano received 93/100 Parker points in Wine Advocate.

  • Anhydrous Winery - Avantis Estate winemaker Mr. Apostolos Mountrikas fell in love with Santorini and the strong personality of Assyrtiko and started his project in Santorini in 2012.

He completed his project in 2021, founding Anwaterous Winery.

His philosophy is based on experimentation with ancient winemaking techniques that produce modern wines with purity and essential varietal characteristics.

Wines that reflect the connection with the arid land of Santorini, the majesty of the land, the volcano, the sun, the sea breeze, the Cycladic air - the vibrant personality of this unique PDO land.

High-quality wines that capture the pure beauty of Santorini. These are anhydrous wines.

  • Artemis Karamolegos Winery - The history of the winery goes back to 1952, when Grandfather Artemis cultivated his vineyards to produce wine that would satisfy the needs of his own family, and then sell it to the island and the rest of Greece. Artemis Karamolegos, the grandson who replaced his grandfather and then his father at the EXO Gonia winery, is a young man, active and full of passion for his work. From 2004 to the present day, he has managed to perform a real miracle and move the family business many steps forward and with great speed.

Santorini wine making history tour - Visiting a local family farm still making wine by hand for the locals. Ending our tour with a visit to an authentic “cave” winery operation.

Definitely do this! - Our guide Maria was super friendly and knowledgeable! This was our favorite activity of our trip. We tasted lots of white wines, a few dessert wines and a couple of liquors as well. All of the wineries had small bites of food as well.

Great wine tour! - Very memorable trip. We learned a lot and got to enjoy some incredible wines. It was a quieter day and our group was only 4 people. We saw 3 wineries and each was great. The Assyrtiko wines were lovely, and we even shipped some back home to the states. Definitely recommend this exrursion.

Fantastic Wine Tasting Tour!! Santorini's white wines are so good! - My son and I went to Santorini in December 2023. We went on this group wine tour, and because it was the off season, we ended up having the group wine tour to ourselves, just the two of us! Our tour guide Mary, and our driver Arturos, ended up being the same guides as the day before for which we took a group tour of the local sites. It was great that we got the same guides, since they could set up both days for our tours to ensure we didn't miss anything important! My son and I wanted to look at Akritori and the Red beach, so our tour guide Mary said that they could pick us up from there instead of our hotel. So we bussed to Akritori and then did our own exploring in the morning. We then got picked up to go to our first wine tasting on this tour. Our tour guide even picked up some gluten free snacks for me because I couldn't eat the bread! In total, we went to three wineries. Although many wineries were closed to tourists during the off season, Mary knew where to take us and was an amazing tour guide, and all the wineries were lovely! She told us the history of the wineries, each quite different. We were very fulfilled with this tour! After the tour, they even took us to a local site that showed off the sunset and got to take some amazing pictures. Then she recommended a great restaurant that my son and I ended our day with; we had a roast lamb that had the Vinsanto wine based on it (a delicious dessert wine that we got to try on our tour), which topped off the day! It was really a special day.

Really was a great tour. Only wish we had been able to taste the wine, as was promised in the tour explanation
