A full on day to Santorini - A tiring day with an early start and late return but worth the effort. Ferry was excellent if a bit chaotic getting tickets in long queues so allow plenty of time to sort. Journey over was pleasant enough and passed quite quickly. All well organised with bus numbers and explanations by the crew so you know what to expect when you arrive. Our guide Yannis and driver were absolutely fantastic. Our safety and security were paramount which was excellent to see. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable getting us back to ferry just on time under difficult busy conditions. A beautiful busy day. Would recommend.

Incredible, surreal experience - Absolutely incredible experience. Amazing way to experience Santorini if you have limited time in Greece. I was in Crete Heraklion so great way to experience Santorini. The ferry (2h from Heraklion to Santorini) was a little old and queues to buy food etc on the ferry was very long. But you forget all that once you’re in beautiful Santorini. Tour guides were really great too.

Wonderful holiday with a great trip - We stayed at the Lyttos Beach Hotel and had the perfect tour guide from Schauinsland-Reisen. Julie P. took care of everything and gave us great advice. We asked so many questions and she always answered us patiently. Great advice regarding the excursions and everything went really well with the car rental through her. Julie, you are a wonderful tour guide. Hopefully we'll see each other again...

Santorini - long day but worth it! - Beautiful visit to Santorini - got lost 3 times despite the guide advising us we couldn’t get lost 😂😂 a lot of time on buses, boats but worth it to tick Santorini off on the bucket list ❤️

Marathon day for not much - Not enough time to visit. Very long day transportation to just take qq pictures. Very disappointed. We were looking forward to this day. The Guide talked to us only about cathedrals and wasted a lot of time talking ..

Santorini d.i.y. - Place was wonderful the tour was rushed the guide entertained but many of his historical facts were wrong. Value for money the ferry cost €13:50 the island is 26 miles long a good Google and a few taxis would have been better and much cheaper

We got to the port for... - We got to the port for 7am first in line and they couldn’t find our name on the list so told us to wait aside until the queue had ended.. this was a very long line. I contacted the tour operator after 20+ minutes not really any resolution. Eventually 10mins before the boat was due to depart we were given a ticket and a reply came back from the tour operator to ask how we were getting along and then 8.30 we did receive a call from the tour operator. We used Viator many times in many countries, this is our worst experience, plenty of tour companies we can use in the future

Very disappointed with Cretan Holiday, excursion Santorini 2024 - Very disappointed with Cretan Holidays. for €400.00 to visit Santorini. First of all, a transport organization, catastrophic, with an angry driver (on the 1st morning) and really very unpleasant. Arriving in Santorini, the driver not too pleasant either (it must be typical, the ba) The Guide, who only told the story of Santorini in the coach in we show the map. No visits with the Guide on site, except to take everyone to the local restaurant, which she knows well. Deliver to ourselves, to visit Santorini in 3:30!!! Back, no better, following a bad organization, we- found ourselves in the middle of nowhere, fortunately the driver took it upon himself to escort us (we were 6 people) Result of this trip, left at 5am to return at 8pm in the evening, without having really enjoyed the excursion!!! We calculated everything, took ferry and various transport, it would have cost us much less, for the service we received. Of course we claimed, but, file without further action, as usual, and I am not the only one in the case!! To pay it goes by itself and you always get to reach someone, but for claims, there are more people!!!!

Beautiful island, overpriced/disorganized - We consider ourselves seasoned travelers and have been very pleased with Viator offerings in the past. However, for what we paid (~$430 USD), this tour was overpriced, disappointingly disorganized, and we do not feel that the tour included what was listed in the ad. Overpriced - after some rough math (ferry pricing, buses on Santorini, etc), we could have visited Santorini on our own for significantly less. Disappointingly disorganized - when we arrived at the Heraklion, Crete port to board the ferry to Santorini, the tour group provided no guidance as to how to obtain our ferry tickets, where to go, etc. There was no set meeting point and we had to rely on the ferry operators for guidance. While the guide on Santorini was friendly and knowledgeable on the bus, the tour group was mostly left on our own to find our way through the towns. The tour company guidance at Santorini port back to Crete was a little better. Same lack of guidance finding our tour bus upon return to Heraklion after the tour. Not as advertised - the ad stated that we would get a boat tour of the caldera and be able to swim. However, once en route on the tour we were told this was at an extra price (30 €ea) and you had to skip the visit to the capital city to participate in the boat tour. Santorini is a beautiful island and is well-worth seeing. But we would recommend visiting on one’s own.
