Great sunrise tour. - Thank you Christos for showing us the best places for photos and giving out some good photography tips along the way. I even learnt a few things about the iPhone! If you are reading this and unsure if it is worth it compared to the group tours, it absolutely is. Christos is a great guy, skilled photographer and knows where to go to get some stunning shots. 100% recommended.

Wow... just wow! - Christos was absolutely amazing!! We spent several hours on the sunrise tour, and it was very well worth waking up at 5am. Christos picked us up exactly at the scheduled time, and took us to our first spot where he helped us set up our cameras and taught us about different settings and how to capture the best shots. We took some pictures of the sunrise over one of the monasteries and then proceeded to make several stops throughout the tour. Christos shared some great photography tips with us and was also full of interesting facts and stories. To end the tour, he took us to shoot a monastery that was not visible from the main road, which in my opinion, provided the best views of the tour. Also, our luggage was lost on the way to Greece and our tripod was in there, and he and his company was nice enough to let us borrow a tripod the night before and they even dropped it off at our hotel. 5 stars (and I would give them more if I could) and HIGHLY recommend for anyone looking for amazing photography in Meteora, whether a starter or a pro!

Worth every penny! - I stumbled upon this offering in TripAdvisor and decided to give it a go. Christos was prompt, respectful, knowledgable and just plain fun to be with. I had forgotten how to use my DSLR after not using it for two years during the pandemic. Christos refreshed me on ISO, aperture and shutter speed, then helped me relearn my camera. I came away with some great pics, but perhaps most importantly--I now feel comfortable using my camera in manual again. I highly enjoyed this experience and thought it was a great value for what you get. Christos is a real pro and a great teacher!

Great experience and recommendation. - We took the Golden Sunrise photo tour and outside the beautiful sights, stunning rock formations and beautiful monasteries, it was the guidance and knowledge of Chris that made this tour the highlight of this trip. Unforgettable day in Meteora - I came across Meteora Photo Tour while trying to find unique ways to discover this beautiful city. In an attempt to beat the crowds and avoid too much time under the sun, I decided to book the Sunrise Photo Tour. Since my partner is a photo enthusiast, it seemed like a good combo. The booking process was absolutely seamless. I received a confirmation email at booking and a reminder email about 24 hours before the tour. Since we had a 5:30am starting time, Konstantina also sent me a text via WhatsApp the previous night, assuring me Christos would be at our hotel at the time scheduled. From the moment Christos greeted us at our hotel, I knew it would be an amazing experience. He is the embodiment of Greek hospitality and had a goodies bag prepared for us in the backseat of his car, which he drove without a problem through the windy roads that lead to the best and most secluded viewing points of town. We are, by no means, knowledgeable about photography. We took the tour with nothing but our iPhones and Christos was sure to give us good tips to snap the best angles of the villages, monasteries and sumptuous rock formations around us. He had his camera and his iPhone with him, and would show us the ins and out of each shot as we needed it. He even snapped a few photos of us, which turned out just perfect. Christos will pace the tour at your choice and needs, and can cater to photography needs of professionals or amateurs. As the morning progressed we learned SO MUCH about Meteora and the surrounding villages. Christos grew up here and is passionate about Meteoran culture and traditions. We had the opportunity to hang out with a local and ask all sorts of questions during 4 hours that felt like spending time with a dear friend through the roads of a mysterious city. Needless to say we’ll be recommending this tour to all.

Sunrise Meteora - Our wedding photographer recommended to us the services of Christos and Konstantina for our first visit of Meteora, and it was truly amazing ! We have chosen the sunrise tour in order to make the most out of the single full day we had at Meteora, they picked us up early at our hotel for a tour of the most interesting lookouts for taking pictures. After this experience, we believe this tour is a « must do» because it is organized by locals who are passionate about photography and the place. Christos learned me very useful tricks (the combination of bracketing and panorama with tripod) while Konstantina provided very relevant and interesting historical facts about the place. Besides, we had the feeling of being very privileged as we were the only couple on the tour this morning making the whole experience more intimate and friendly and also because we could visit this exceptional place before the tourists rush... we really appreciated the little extras (bag with gift, coffee and snacks, tips for the rest of the day, tripod provided for sunrise). We will come back ;)
