Hydra is one of the most captivating and renowned islands in Greece, situated in the Argo-Saronic Gulf. Our journey commences with a scenic two-hour drive along the eastern stretch of Peloponnese, providing sea views en route to the Metohi port. We then embark on a short, half-hour journey aboard a small boat to Hydra. As we approach the harbor, the glamour of Hydra becomes evident; it’s as if it has been plucked from an artwork, with hues of white, grey and blue layered over the sea- creating an impressive paradigm of architecture and aesthetics. The town of Hydra, which constitutes the heart of the island, is designed in an amphitheatrical style around the port, skillfully integrating nature and architecture. Upon arrival, you’ll have three hours to pursue your own explorations. Wander through the picturesque lanes of the island, pay a visit to the historical museum, and soak up its cosmopolitan atmosphere. In the later hours, we’ll reboard the boat for our return journey, leaving you with a camera full of memorable snapshots!
