Acropolis of Lindos - Come aboard and let us introduce you to Lindos and its beauties!
We promise not to skip any tips or insiders info in this single-hour trip!
Once you meet us at the dock of St. Paul’s Bay you will board our spacious submarine and we will show you around the submerged deck of the vessel where, you may relax in A/C, listen to music and look at the seabed right next to you; through the huge port holes. While leaving the bay, you will observe the deep blue waters and feel surrounded by serenity.
We will then invite you to come back up on deck and see the ancient Acropolis of Lindos; majestic indeed!
You can ask us about its history and we will share our insider’s tips of when to visit to enjoy best!
- Tomb of Kleoboulos - Heading for the second stop; the Tomb of Kleovoulos, we will tell you all about a significant ancient Greek Philosopher who preached that “Keeping a balance is the key to happiness in life”.
Fish-feeding will follow and you will see sea bream, sea bass and many other friends of ours greeting you while they quickly bite on the seafood we throw at them. You can help out too if you like!
- Lindos Beach - On our way back, we will slide through the main beach of Lindos, popular and boasting with activities and people.

Brilliant trip, great boat and staff. - Absolutely brilliant trip. Had originally booked for later in the day but high winds had other plans. Hipoosub contacted us to move us to the earlier sailing. Staff were very informative and friendly. We were lucky and onpy had approx 14 people on board. Great set up, toilet, drinks etc available on board. The downstairs cabin was nice and cold with brilliant viewing windows. We had a great time, our 3 year old loved it. Swimming off the boat was brilliant. Really enjoyed the whole experience

Highlight of our Holiday! - If you are looking to do a unique tour of Lindos, see the aquatic life, feed fish and swim in the Mediterranean Sea, then I would highly recommend Hippo Submarine tours.
The staff went above and beyond to help everyone feel welcome. Our son (1yrs old) was a little upset due to the heat and didn't have a good nap, when we got on board. However the staff weren't phased and managed to get him to giggle and smile. The rest of the trip was incredible and our son had a huge smile on his face the whole time.
We went at 16:20 in the evening, and I would say this was perfect as we were able to see the sunset when coming back, giving us a beautiful view of the Acropolis and St Paul's Bay.
The trip for us came with a free drink which was welcome after the swim in the sea.
For all that was included, we felt the price was very fair.
If you have kids and want to do something unique during this holiday then give this a go, you won't regret it.

Great 2 hour trip. - Great 2 hour trip. Fabulous scenery and fun for the children feeding the fish. Lovely and cool, air conditioned submarine area to watch what’s under the surface.
Lots of time to swim … take a snorkel if you have one!
Drinks and snacks available.
Friendly guys.

Brilliant! - Brilliant trip!
The 2 guys that were on board were brilliant! So knowledgeable, funny, helpful and very good at what they do.
The 2 hour trip gave us plenty of time to see the fish being fed (the boat man let my little girl 7yo pour the food in) watch through the brilliant underwater submarine. We stopped twice for swimming in the crystal waters. We all had a brilliant time and my 7yo loved every minute.

Lovely 1h trip - Nice 1h sailing seeing Lindos from the sea. Amazing being able to go under deck to see both fish and the landscape under water. The staff was very friendly and especially the kids loved being allowed to help throw food for the little fish in the water.
Lovely with a stop for swimming in lovely clear water.

Amazing trip! Totally recommend - Amazing time on the boat! The views and places are breathtaking! Love to see under the water and the line coast of lindos, it was an amazing experience! Staff was amazing and friendly, feel free to take a trip, in family or friends!

Do this trip, you will love the experience. - Really enjoyed this trip.Four of us went on the late afternoon 2hr trip that was good value for money and gave a different view if the Acropolis. Seeing the fish and rock formation below was really good and the swim in the sea was enjoyable. Staff were all excellent and interacted well with everyone. Highly recommend taking this trip.

Magical trip, the highlight of our holiday to Rhodes. - Magical trip – the highlight of our visit to Rhodes. We went as a family of 5, along with a handful of other passengers unknown to us. The captain and crew were super friendly and accommodating. The views were stunning and swim spot nothing other than exhilarating. The glass bottom gave us views of the seabed around Lindos and surrounding coastline. From there we saw numerous species of fish including lionfish and cornetfish amongst others.
