Explore Messinia - Canyoning Neda waterfalls - Neda is a river in the Peloponnese of southern Greece. According to Greek mythology, Neda was a nymph, a goddess of water and she was one of those who nourished Zeus.
Our canyoning experience in Neda is the ideal way to do your first steps and get addicted to the magic world of canyoning at a natural waterpark. Canyoning is the descent of a gorge using various techniques and methods. Quite often we’ll rappel down waterfalls, sometimes we jump, sometimes the canyon forms natural flumes and we can slide down. There’s also a lot of swimming, walking and climbing. It’s all of that together. In the beginning, a brief training will be conducted by your canyoning leader and you will be given wetsuits and harnesses. It will be a few minutes walk to the point where the descent begins where wetsuits and equipment will be worn. Then the fun part begins with a mixture of everything such as jumps, water slides, beautiful swims, bits that we can abseil. We finish the day rappelling the last of the waterfalls of 25 meters.

Leave your car at the parking corner and walk 200m down to the river, you will find a little canteen nested in the lush vegetation. That's where you'll meet your guides.

Great time in the Neda gorge, beautiful waterfalls, a lot of fun in the water, rappelling activity up to 35m
Trifonas and Fotis took care of everything, but first and foremost safety and fun !

Amazing experience - We had a really nice canyoning activity! We did it with our 2 kids (8 & 11). The guides worked really professional and also brought good atmosphere and made everybody feeling comfortable during the descent between rocks and waterfalls. The environment is amazing.
Take into consideration that the trip to reach the destination (Neda waterfalls) is a bit challenging here and there.

Amazing time with Explore Messinia - I’m amazed with all the activities, the views and the stuff!
I went solo kayaking in Kardamyli joining an 8 people group, joined a 10 people group at Neda canyon and a 7 people group at Polylimnio! All services were great.
The stuff was professional, the equipment was brand new and the food at the end great. Who doesn’t love being surrounded by good people while eating great food??
I totally suggest all of the three activities!

Must do waterfall experience! - What an amazing experience. Family of 3 who have never done canyoning before were put at ease by the great team and tackled the beautiful course with smiles on our faces! If you're in the Peloponnese then this is a must do!!

Wonderful adventure - Wonderful adventure with a family of 2 teenagers. Guides are funny, patient and real prof. Canyon was really nice. Water refreshing, wearing hydro costumes just perfect. Defenately recommend!

Family Adventure - Neda Waterfalls is a beautiful place. The canyoning excursion was so much fun! Our teenage boys said it was the best thing we’ve done in Greece! The guides were wonderful. Fully prepared and organized, and they were a lot of fun to talk to and do this trip with!! Even the little picnic at the end was such a nice treat!

Beautiful tour - Great canyon tour with beautiful scenery and great guides.
Highly recommended.
Good mix of hiking, jumping and abseiling.

recommended experience! - this is a very intense experience and the guides were professional and very nice.
Take under consideration that the water is very cold and you need to know how to swim. If you listen to the guides this is a very nice experience. i recommend!
