Thank you so much Thanos - Our tour guide Thanos made our day in Santorini one that I will never forget. I went on tour of Santorini island with my family which included a wide range of ages (33-70s). Given the many steps in Santorini the landscape was a challenge for some of my family. Thanos recognized this right away and went above and beyond to accommodate our group. He was flexible and took us to see sites that would not require much walking. Thanos is kind, funny, very knowledgeable of the area and we felt so blessed to have a guide who’s a native of the area (11 generations!). He is also a skilled driver and we felt safe with him. I would recommend this company to anyone especially Thanos. He is amazing and it’s only because of him our day was wonderful.

Great Experience; Ask for Thanos! - We had no idea what to expect when we docked in Santorini with 9 other cruise ships! Thanos was our tour guide and he made the whole experience amazing!!! He is a local and loves Santorini. Extremely knowledgeable of the island, fantastic driver and carefully drove us from one destination to the next. He knew where to find the best lookout spots to take in the beauty of Santorini. If you get the chance, I would highly recommended booking with Santorini Road Trips and asking for Thanos. He is probably one of the most genuine humans we have met and we had a great time. Five stars all the way!!!

Amazing Island Tour with Nicholas! - Had a great trip with Nicholas! Unfortunately we didn't have much time to visit the island, and the full-day (12-hour) trip with Nicholas was the perfect way to learn as much about the island and history as possible in our limited time. The trip was customized to our request, including Akrotiri, the red and black beaches, wine tasting, several cute villages, and a beautiful sunset in Oia! Nicolas met us at our hotel, made all the necessary arrangements (including an amazing lunch at Perissa), and dropped us back at our hotel at the end of the day. Could not have been easier or more convenient. Ευχαριστώ Nicholas!

A tour of the whole Santorini island: Oia, red beach, black beach, small inland towns. - Thanos was our tour guide and he was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our group. Highly recommend booking a tour and ask for Thanos!

GREAT Highlight Tour of the Best to See in Santorini! - Vasilis was our guide and driver and he was fantastic! A lifelong resident of Santorini with a family history dating back hundreds of years, he had amazing insight into the island's history. He drove very smoothly which is important going up and down mountain roads to prevent motion sickness. Make sure you can schedule your tour to see a sunset - it's spectacular! Dinner on the Bland Sand Beach (at Do Do's) was wonderful as well. The only complaint about the tour is the Cable Car process up and down the mountain. Riding a donkey was out of the question, and so was walking. There aren't enough cars, and the line to pay and ride took us an hour, making us late for our tour stop. That's fine if you have a private tour like we did, but keep that in mind if you're taking a group tour. Worse, you can't buy a return ticket until you get up top, so you get to wait in line AGAIN when you're tired from the day. VERY inefficient, but, that's no fault of this tour - it is what it is!

Perfect tour of Santorini with Nicolas - Our guide, Nicolas, was amazing! The 8 hours tour allows you to see the most important and beatiful attractions in Santorini. All perfect.

A perfect day with Thanos! - What can you say about Thanos, our guide, and this tour company!? It was all outstanding—from the pickup at our hotel to the flexibility and information about the island throughout the day. Thanos is a native of Santorini, so to have someone with his local knowledge and expertise to spend the day with was truly special. We were a bit hesitant to book the “customizable” tour because we didn’t know much about the island, but it was awesome because Thanos asked us what we liked/wanted to see and then catered the trip to those needs. I can think of no better way to get acquainted with this beautiful island, and I could not recommend Thanos more! Oh, and he knows where alllll of the breathtaking picture spots are (he’s a great photographer, too)! Just book this…you won’t regret it!

Great experience of scenic island - We wanted to see picturesque views of Santorini. Our tour guide Thanos was great! We left early to beat the crowds and sun and got great photos in Oia. Then he took us to Megalochori to get a feel of local non touristic life. Our guide is from the island so he had a lot of personal stories and information which we found fascinating. I would highly recommend!

Best day in Santorini with THANOS! - We absolutely loved Thanos, our guide! He did such a great job and we had an amazing day! 10/10 experience with the sightseeing, information he gave us, the car/the driving, and even a good restaurant selection!

Immerse yourself in the local culture and become a Greek for a day! - We visited Santorini in June 2024 and our experience was exceptional. Thanos made sure we had a wonderful time and made us feel like a local. He took us sightseeing and was patient enough to accommodate our wants and needs. I traveled with my sisters and my 9-year old twins and despite the hot temperatures Thanos chose activities that would not get us extremely tired or hot. He told us about life in Santorini from a local perspective and allowed us to get immersed in the local culture during our time there. He was so friendly and welcoming that at some point we had to hide from his uncle who lives nearby a place we were visiting as he said that if his uncle saw him, he would invite us all in for coffee for 2 hours!!! 🤣😂. Who knows when life will bring us back to Santorini but when it does, we will make it a point to contact Thanos again. 🙏 Thank you for everything!
