Meteora with Christos - Christos met us at the port in Thessaloniki and took us to see the monasteries at Meteora. He grew up in that area and was able to take us to places we would not have been able to find. Not only did he know the area, but he knew the history. Because of his careful timing we were able to see 3 monasteries. Then lunch at a very nice outdoor Cafe, I belive it was in Kastraki.
The back to the ship. In all it was a 12 hour day.
We really liked Chris and would love to have him and his family visit us.

Meteora with Meteora Thrones was fantastic - Meteora Thrones went above and beyond to provide a personal trip for us. We were staying at a resort where other companies wouldn’t pick up from and provided us a private tour to enable us to see a bucket list location. Our guide Nancy was good company, knowledgable and flexed our day to suit us and other tourists that day to ensure we visited at the best times. Awesome experience and awesome customer service! Would definitely recommend.

Great way to experience, Meteora - We had a wonderful experience with our driver “Sake” and our local licensed tour guide “Georgia“. They both shared a wealth of knowledge with us. Georgia went into one monastery with us and gave us a wealth of explanation of the fresco’s. Sake Gave us a lot of information about the local area, geology, etc. We learned a ton of things from both of them which we would not have known otherwise, highly recommend doing Meteora with this agency. We also did not feel rushed.

Nancy is the best tour guide. - Nancy was an amazing tour guide and person. Knowledgeable, helpful, and overall wonderful. She showed us all the amazing sites and knew the best order so we avoided crowds and did the most challenging steps first. I hope you are lucky enough to get her as your tour guide.

Private tour with Nancy - We had a lovely time with Nancy, she was very knowledgeable about the area including how the rocks formed, how life at the monasteries is like, etc.
She showed us pictures of one that can only be visited twice a year.
I had the feeling she really wanted us to have a great experience :)

Impressing Meteora with Meteora Thrones 😊 - We left from Thessaloniki by bus, tickets organized by meteora thrones. It was really ease to follow the instructions and get to Kalambaka. In Kalabaca Christos was waiting for us. We had the possibility to visit and sightsee the monasteries and the hermit caves. Christos was very attentive and explained all details and history linked to Meteora. We loved it and hugely recommend it. Thank you Christos for taking good care of us.

Majestic and awesome Meteora! - Our family of three did a private tour of Meteora with Meteora Thrones. It was a convenient and comfortable ride in a mini van with hotel pick up and drop off.
Christos was an excellent driver-guide, giving us the history of the area and patiently showed us many interesting angles to view the rocks and monasteries. An added bonus was his recommendation for a delicious dinner!

Great tour of Meteora - Our family of four had a private Meteora tour with this company and it was wonderful! Our guide Nancy was fantastic—very knowledgeable, friendly and (very important in Meteora) a careful and safe driver! It was a perfect experience! Highly recommended!

Great experience!! - Absolutely fantastic trip! Would highly recommend this to anyone, but it was especially nice for our large family. We enjoyed learning about the history of the area and the monasteries and we had a great visit to several of the monasteries. Didn’t have to worry about parking. Highly recommended!

From the very beginning to our saying goodbye, Christos gave us complete information and his personal guidance that filled our hearts and minds with memories that shall last the rest of our lives. This day filled one of our dreamed-of bucket list items and did not in any way disappoint. He was well-informed
