Amazing trip to Temple of Posideon. - The view was amazing. It was better than we expected or hoped for. Ilias is a great driver and tour guide. He knows a lot and can share it. We enjoyed the trip a lot and highly recommend him. We'd ask for him any time.

First afternoon in Greece - Driver picked us up at airport, brought us to hotel to change and clean up a bit. Then he picked us up again to drive along the coast with a stop for a big delicious lunch and some photo opps. Drove us to Sounio then waited for us while we walked around the Temple of Poseidon and took some more photos. Besides the cost of the tour we paid for our lunch, €10 each for admission to the Temple of Poseidon, and a tip for our driver. It was a great way to avoid jet lag from Chicago while learning a bit about Greece to begin our vacation. Ilias is very kind, friendly, respectful, helpful, patient and knowledgeable about Greece (and also a safe driver!) He was on time and communicated well ahead of time, and speaks English. Highly recommended.

Perfect Day - 100% recommend this guide/driver - Took a 4 hour tour to the Temple of Poseidon amongst other stops en-route expertly driven and guided by Mr ilias kanteres who was EXCELLENT! Really friendly, safe and knowledgeable- super enjoyable time would recommend 100%(and I have been a travel professional n UK for over 20 years so have seen good and bad!)

Beautiful day exploring - Ilias is a wonderful guide for your trip. He took us to Lake Vouliagmeni. It is a beautiful place where we went for a swim. Very unique experience. Then on to the Temple of Poseidon to explore. Ilias was showing and explaining many nice points of interest along our travels of the scenic coastline. Last stop was a perfect lunch spot where we enjoyed the fresh catch of the day, red snapper. Amazing views on the water. We definitely recommend this tour.

Wonderful trip while visiting Athens - 5 Highly recommend this tour when in Athens. Ask for Kanteres Ilias for a driver. He is kind, personable, and accommodating! The best. Even if you only have a few days this is nice “change of pace” from the city. The drive is relaxing and beautiful. Stop for fresh caught fish for dinner along the coast at fish restaurant owned by four brothers. The best snapper we have ever eaten!

Great Driver and Excellent Tour - During the trip to Poseidon’s temple, there were many things to see, such as the beautiful coastal areas, the lake, and the vast amount of islands off the coast of Greece. Our driver, Elias, has gone out of his way to make sure that our tour was as enjoyable as possible. He will not hesitate with answering our questions, would constantly ask if we wanted to stop and take pictures, and even tried to find a spot where we can take pictures of the lake during the sunset when the main road was blocked by a festival. Thank you Elias for making this trip a lifelong memory.

Beautiful visit with a professional, knowledgeable and great tour guide. - My partner and I contemplated taking the group bus tour for the Temple of Poseidon due to price and ease. However after reading mixed reviews about bus tours we were unsure. The reviews related to 15:00 starts but actually going across to multiple hotels for pickups, having a long wait times before setting off and returning, then being given limited time at the monument itself. So we proceeded with Ilias and the private tour. The price difference sounded quite large but actually was minimal in the grand scheme of things. The price for a bus tour was approx €85-100 with entry to the monument and the private tour costs what is displayed. The price at the temple is only €5 per person to enter, whilst the bus tours seemed to charge €10 per person. After doing the private tour we were not disappointed at all. Ilias had communication constantly and arrived at the exact time we agreed. He had a spacious air conditioned car and gave local inside knowledge along the entire route. We stopped at the geothermal lake and Ilias spoke about it's origins. From here we took the beautiful coastal route to the temple, arriving an hour + prior to the bus tours. We were able to look around the entire space and scenery with no limit on time or feeling rushed before a nice cruise back to the city and hotel. The tour was fully customisable, meaning we could spend more time at the lake and monument having arguably 1 hour more than the bus tours to take in the breath taking views and scenes. Ilias had great knowledge, professionalism, banter and was very courteous the entire trip. He gave great insights about ancient Greece and Greek life, checked if we were okay and happy throughout, offering us a drink, phone charger or WiFi in the car (even though we didn't want it because the scenery and views are better than my phone screen!). Overall we don't regret getting this tour at all even though it is slightly higher in price. The customisable nature, driver and experience we had made it totally worth it. Thanks again Ilias.
