Artemis Karamolegos Winery - 1952:The story of our winery begins with grandfather Artemis Karamolegos cultivating his vineyard in Exo Gonia. He mainly produces wine for his family, but he also sells wine.
1995:Artemis Karamolegos’ son, Vangelis,
takes over the wine production,
but again, not at a professional level
2003:Artemis Karamolegos, the grandson,
is handed the reins of the family
business. He begins to produce the good quality,
bottled and labelled (then Ο.P.Α.P) wine
“SANTORINI”.
2004:Artemis oversees the renewal of the old vineyard. He plants rare traditional Santorini varieties of grape such as Assyrtiko, Aidani and Mavrotragano. He starts selling the winery’s first bottled wines, Santorini, Nykteri and Vinsanto, on the local market.

Amazing day, amazing viewed, amazing wines. - Fani was amazing, she was very knowledgeable about all the wines and about all the little areas we drove through and was a great host, pick up and drop off was smooth, me and my partner had a great experience. Thank you fani we will definitely be doing this tour again when we are back on the island. Dean & Rita.

What an experience! - What an amazing experience. Felt very personal, and did not rush us but adapted to our timings throughout. Having a driver to take you from place to place was brilliant.

Wonderful Experience 💙 Totally Recommend 💙 - My husband and I decided to treat us with a wine tasting tour 🍷🍾
Firstly we were greeted by the lovely Fanny, she guided us through the tour with her great knowledge, being very informative but also super friendly; we visited two wineries and tasted a total of 10 wines, accompanied with a brilliant selection of cheese, bread, olive oil and more, everything was absolutely perfect, each of the wines were great and we had a proper tour that explained the whole process of the wine making and its been super interesting. Fanny was definitely the best guide we could ever have, she even brought us to a special place in Pyrgos to see the most wonderful sunset on the Caldera, away from other tourists, in a super romantic spot.
Totally recommended to anyone that is looking for a wine tasting experience in Santorini.

Lovely Personalized Experience! - Would highly recommend taking this tour when traveling to Santorini if you’re interested in wine and it’s history on the island. Fani was our guide. She was knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel so welcome. Logistics were easy, pick up, drop off, and traveling in and out of Oía were a breeze.

Exceptional Guide with In-Depth Knowledge and Personal Touch - Fani was an outstanding guide! She shared extensive information about winemaking and Santorini, and she took the time to get to know us personally. The wineries we visited were beautiful. Highly recommended.

For great wine tasting, taste with a qualified expert - Excellent tour hosted by a very knowledgable, qualified winemaker. Highly recommended, particularly if you have an interest in wine, how it’s made and what makes terroir unique.

Vineyards and Oia sunset with Junior - George (Junior) took us to two vineyards and then onto Oia. The vineyards were really interesting and different to each other. Junior was absolutely fantastic- very knowledgable, telling us a lot about the island as we drove around. He went out of his way to ensure that we got to see lots of different things in Oia and tasted some Greek treats. He was super friendly and would definitely recommend the trip to our friends.
