The island is renowned for its Assyrtiko wine, with production methods steeped in Santorini’s local traditions. Each winery holds its own captivating story and provides an immersive tasting journey. This tour takes you on a scenic exploration of the island, combing lush landscapes with premier quality wines. The cultivation of wine on Santorini dates back to the time of Venetian rule, during which the Venetians recognised the island’s mineral-abundant volcanic soil as ideal for excellent wine production. Our excursion includes visits to three distinct wineries, journeying across Santorini to discover the wide range of its wine-making capabilities.
