PLEASE NOTE ALL OF THE FOLLOWNG: All guests are required to arrive 30 minutes BEFORE the start of your tour time for MANDATORY SEGWAY orientation and training. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO ACCOMMODATE LATE GUESTS. (We can send you gift codes that don’t expire to use to rebook another time). OUR office is located ON THE STREET LEVEL of NOMA Flats at 233 N. Main St. (directly across N. Main St. from Kilwin’s/ Hyatt Hotel) to the left of the elevator.

- Minimum age is 12 years old AND they must weigh at least 100 lbs.
- Participants under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent OR an adult 21 years or older with a signed waiver from parent
- Minimum weight is 100 lbs (45 kg)
- Maximum weight is 260 lbs (117 kg)
- Dress code: Closed-toe shoes are preferred but not required; shoes with any heel can be a challenge, and weather-appropriate layers; no hats
- We provide full refunds if OUR COMPANY cancels due to rain or inclement weather.
- NOT NOT NOT recommended for anyone with mobility issues; must able to stand unaided for approx. 2 hrs.
- NOT recommended for anyone who has had recent surgeries for joint replacement.

Awesome tour and tour guide!! - Awesome tour!! Walter is a very knowledgeable and attentive tour guide. Having grown up in the Greenville area, he has so much to share on so many topics. We plan on bringing our grandchildren to Greenville and his tour is at the very top of our list of to dos!!!

Excellent method to see Greenville in under 2 hours - Walter (our tour guide) chose a great route and did an excellent job providing historic details and overviews of the top restaurants. We specifically asked to focus on these two topics. After the informative tour, we strolled the downtown on foot and targeted the shops and restaurants that fit our preferences.
The ride through the park and along the river is something everyone of all ages should experience.

EXCELLENT- GUIDE, TOUR, and TIME! Highly Recommend. - Highly recommend the Greenville Glides! Wonderful, informative tour with an experienced professional (Walter) who obviously cares about his clients and his city. Time was given to ensure we felt safe and in-control of the Segway. Step-by-step instructions were given, and then each of us had the opportunity to practice techniques before we started the tour, which goes on different terrains (street paving, bridges, brick walks...) and on different levels( a few hills, winding paths, up and down curbs...). We learned about the history of Greenville, saw many special artistic and nature sights, all-the-while foodie and shopping recommendations were shared as we rode through the city as well as the park. The pace was excellent, especially because our guide was solicitous for our well-being: water was provided, periodic offers to stop and rest were offered, and positive can-do remarks were shared. This Segway excursion was the highlight of our trip. Many thanks for an excellent tour!

Great way to see Greenville! - Walter was a good tour guide and definitely knew a great deal about Greenville. He also paid attention to training and safety. We saw so much more of the city on Segway than what we could have walked.

Super Experience with the Greenville Glides - We my wife and I) had a great time on the Greenville Glides Segway tour! This was her first experience and she did GREAT! We had never been to Greenville before and this is a great way to experience the city for the first time. Our guide, Walter, made the difference. This was my sixth ride on a Segway tour in different cities. I have to tell you that Walter, our guide, made the difference. This was the best tour of the six and it was because of him. He knows so much about the city and he shares it well. He asked us, of the four areas - History, Restaurants, Art/Architecture, Ghost Stories that you want to see then he builds the tour on your answers. He will not let you go on the tour until you feel comfortable on the Segway and that he thinks you will be safe. The owners of this company should give him stock in it; he represents you well! GOOD JOB WALTER! Next time we are in Greenville, we may very well do this again! Thank you for the pleasant experience!

What a gem - What a gem! Walter knows so much about Greenville and joyfully shares his knowledge. We were skillfully instructed on safety, practiced, practiced some more, then took to the streets. He gave breaks, checked on us, showed us all the great eating spots and art. We both loved the adventure, and plan to do it again next year!!

Segway tour in downtown Greenville, South Carolina - The excursion was so fun! Our trip guide was Walter and he was amazing. He shared so much information about the art in downtown Greenville, the city’s history, and the restaurants we should try while we were there. He was very attentive to our needs and very professional while also being very personable. I would recommend Walter and this excursion to everyone!

Good overview of GVL - Our first Segway rides! Got great training in the shop and then became more familiar in the parking lot behind before taking off into the city. Walter was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who pointed out best restaurants, historical landmarks and local art hot spots. Would certainly go again. Wear good supportive shoes, your feet get a surprisingly good workout on the Segway!
