Whirling Dervish Ceremony: Known as the world’s most mystical dance, it was inspired by Rumi (1207-1273) and taught to Mevlana by Shams-i Tabriz. On a deeper level, it is the ritual of the Mevlevi dervishes. The ceremony involves opening their arms to the sides, with the right palm facing the sky and the left palm facing the earth, symbolizing receiving from God and giving to the people, all while accompanied by instruments like the Ney (Reed Flute). Here, music serves as a tool for meditation.
