- Göreme Historical National Park - Ash and lava once covered the land, solidifying into tuff rock. Over the centuries, wind erosion sculpted the fairy chimneys visible today. However, it didn’t take long for locals to discover they could carve these rocks, quickly transforming them into homes and churches. Visitors can explore the Göreme Open Air Museum to witness this history and its churches.
- Paşabağ - Paşabağ Valley, also known as the Valley of the Priests, spans a vast area surrounded by mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys. This valley, a popular tourist destination, is one of the regions where the world-famous fairy chimneys are most concentrated and prominent. Its unique scenery and mystical atmosphere inspire deep reflection in all who enter this fairy-tale land.
- Uçhisar Castle - The small, primitive village of Uçhisar is the first sight for visitors departing Nevşehir for Göreme. The village, located just off the road from Nevşehir to Ürgüp, is dominated by a massive rock formation known as the castle, mirroring Ortahisar, a similar-sized but less-visited village.
Historically, Uçhisar served as the “outer castle” and main defense point of the Cappadocia region. Ortahisar was the “middle castle,” while the first “castle,” Başkale, was later renamed Ürgüp.
- Love Valley - Love Valley Cappadocia, known locally as Aşk Vadisi, invites travelers to journey through its heart. Nestled within Cappadocia’s surreal landscapes, Love Valley captivates with its towering fairy chimneys, rich history, and a variety of activities promising an unforgettable adventure. From breathtaking hot air balloon tours at dawn to the tranquil beauty of sunset viewings, Love Valley offers a unique blend of natural wonders and cultural experiences.
- Devrent Valley - Devrent Valley, also known as “Imagination Valley,” is one of Cappadocia’s most enchanting regions. It is a popular destination where travelers can experience and enjoy the stunning lunar landscape, the most surreal scenery in the area.
- Göreme Panorama - Cappadocia is renowned worldwide for its cultural and natural beauty. Fairy chimneys, rock-carved settlements, valleys reflecting a dance of colors, extraordinary soil structures, luxurious cave hotels, and the Open Air Museum, which has witnessed history, all contribute to its well-deserved acclaim. Various panoramic viewpoints offer the shortest way to explore Cappadocia and witness all its beauty, with Göreme Panoramic View Point being the most favored.
- Avanos Pottery Workshop - Imagine a family business in the lands of Cappadocia, enduring through the ages without losing its essence, as old as history itself. Pottery and ceramic art are crafted here using traditional techniques and historical patterns. Visitors can create their own pottery and find only genuine handmade items in the shop, making it the perfect place to purchase traditional pottery and ceramics!
