Highlights
  • Goreme Panorama - Göreme Panorama is a renowned viewpoint in Cappadocia, Turkey, celebrated for its breathtaking panoramic views of the region’s unique rock formations and fairy chimneys. It’s an ideal spot for capturing stunning landscape photos.
  • Devrent Valley - Your mind isn’t playing tricks on you. The shapes that the soft volcanic tuff has formed over time resemble familiar animals and figures. Some tuffs take the shape of a camel, while others transform into a snake or even a dolphin, across its lunar-like landscape. Regardless of what you see, Devrent Valley lets imaginations run wild in this veritable rock zoo.
  • Cappadocia - Located in south-central Turkey, the moonscaped region of Cappadocia, southeast of Ankara, is renowned for its unique geological features called fairy chimneys. These large, cone-like formations were created over time by the erosion of the relatively soft volcanic ash around them. Past cultures have carved into them to create dwellings, castles (like Uchisar), and even entire underground cities like Kaymakli and Derinkuyu, used as hiding places by early Christians. Nearby Kayseri serves as the gateway to the area.
  • Goreme Open-Air Museum - The Goreme Open-Air Museum resembles a vast monastic complex composed of numerous refectory monasteries placed side-by-side, each with its own fantastic church. It is undoubtedly the first sight to be visited by any traveler in Cappadocia, standing as it does in the very center of the region with easy access from all directions.
  • Pigeon Valley - Pigeon Valley is a popular tourist destination located in the Cappadocia region of Turkey. The valley is known for its beautiful scenery, rock-cut dovecotes, and hiking trails. Some of the highlights of Pigeon Valley include:

Rock-cut dovecotes: The valley is known for its rock-cut dovecotes, which were carved out of the soft volcanic rock by ancient people. These dovecotes were used to raise pigeons for food, and they are a unique feature of the valley. Visitors can see the dovecotes and learn about the traditional way of life in Cappadocia.
Hiking: Pigeon Valley is a popular spot for hiking and trekking. Visitors can hike along the valley and enjoy the beautiful scenery and natural rock formations.
Panoramic views: The valley offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the fairy chimneys, cave dwellings, and other natural wonders of Cappadocia. Visitors can see the beautiful scenery from the top of the valley.

  • Ozkonak Underground City - The underground city is built under the hill known as the Citadel and was opened to visitors in 1964. The people of Ozkonak (Enegup in Greek) village have constructed their houses around nearly one hundred tunnels of the underground city. The inhabitants of the region still use the most convenient places in the tunnels as cellars, storage areas, and stables, which they access through their courtyards. The Ozkonak Underground City has low, narrow, and sloping passages. While the underground city consists of 8 floors below ground, only 4 of them are open to the public today, in which the spaces are organized around ventilation shafts.
  • Urgup - The Cappadocia region’s most upscale and contemporary tourist city, Urgup boasts a number of lovely hotels, many built in and around centuries-old cave dwellings. The city and its surrounding area are known for their mysterious fairy chimneys, early Christian rock churches, and fine vineyards. A mix of ancient and modern, Urgup is a center for traditional handmade carpets but also has a lively nightlife. Hot air ballooning is very popular and a fantastic way to see the area’s beauty from above.
  • Uchisar Castle - Uchisar is situated at the highest point in Cappadocia, on the Nevsehir-Goreme road, just 5 km from Goreme. The top of Uchisar Castle provides a magnificent panorama of the surrounding area with Mount Erciyes in the distance.
  • Avanos - Traditional Pottery Workshop - Lunch Break as well as Hand Made Rug Workshop
  • Pasabag - Pasabag in Cappadocia is located on the road to Zelve, coming from Goreme or Avanos. Highly remarkable earth pillars can be seen here, in the middle of a vineyard, hence the name of the place which means: the Pacha’s vineyard. Pacha means “General”, the military rank, in Turkish and it is a very common nickname. This site is also called Monks Valley. The name was derived from some cones carved in tuff stones which stand apart. Currently, there is a vineyard and a number of tuff cones standing right next to the road.

Great day tour! - Bensu was an amazing guide who provided lots of info at each stop - we felt like we had enough time at each stop and decided to skip the open air museum as we had already paid for entry at two different places. The place we stopped for lunch was really good and good price! We had a great day thank you
