- Goreme Panorama - Cappadocia is renowned globally for its cultural and natural wonders. The region boasts fairy chimneys, rock-carved settlements, vibrant valleys, unique soil formations, luxurious cave hotels, and the historic Open Air Museum. Among the many panoramic viewpoints, Göreme Panoramic View Point stands out as the most popular. This viewpoint captivates visitors with stunning views of Cappadocia, especially during sunrise and sunset. It’s the best spot to appreciate the beauty of the valleys, fairy chimneys, and colorful balloons in the sky. Although often crowded, the Göreme Panoramic View Point offers an unforgettable experience for those seeking to relax and enjoy the scenery.
- Pigeon Valley - Guvercinlik Vadisi, or Pigeon Valley, is named after the numerous man-made dovecotes carved into the soft volcanic tuff. Historically, pigeons were vital in Cappadocia for food and fertilizing the soil. While their role has diminished, the dovecotes remain well-maintained by locals and are especially abundant in this valley. Pigeon Valley is a top destination for walking in the stunning Cappadocia region of Central Anatolia. Located between Göreme and Uçhisar, visitors can enjoy a scenic hike connecting the two, passing by rock-hewn Christian churches and abandoned cave homes, and culminating in a visit to Uçhisar Castle for a breathtaking view.
- Kapadokya Onyx - Onyx, a semi-precious stone, contains various minerals. An onyx master will demonstrate the step-by-step carving process, explaining each stage in detail.
- Kaymakli Underground City - Kaymakli Underground City is one of the largest and best-preserved underground cities in the region, believed to have been created by early Christians seeking refuge from persecution. The city features a complex network of tunnels, chambers, and galleries carved deep into the volcanic tuff rock. With eight floors, four of which are open to the public, the city can accommodate up to 3,000 people and extends over 85 meters deep. Visitors will encounter winding passages, steep stairs, and rooms with various historical uses, including water wells, storage areas, and ventilation shafts. Social spaces such as a church, stables, and kitchens, as well as burial chambers, are also part of the exploration.
- Ihlara Valley - The Ihlara Valley, also known as Peristrema Valley (Turkish: Ihlara Vadisi), is a 15 km long and up to 150 m deep canyon located in the southwest of Cappadocia, within the municipality of Güzelyurt, Aksaray Province. The valley is home to around 50 rock-hewn Christian churches and numerous rock-cut buildings, formed by the Melendiz River in prehistoric times. Stretching between the villages of Ihlara and Selime, the valley features a stairway with nearly 400 steps at its north end, descending over 100 meters into the canyon. From the 7th century AD, Byzantine monks settled in the valley, carving their homes and churches from the tuff stone deposited by Mount Hasan’s eruptions.
