Avanos - The famous poet Aşık Seyrani once said, “Even the blind can find their way to Avanos by the shards of pottery.” Known for its pottery, Avanos is a place where pottery trees are a common sight. SOUTH TOUR IN CAPPADOCIA
Goreme Panorama - The tour begins at the Goreme Panoramic Viewpoint, the highest point in Goreme, offering a breathtaking view of the village, rock hotels, nearby valleys, and Uchisar Castle. The guide will provide detailed information about the region’s geological and historical background.
Derinkuyu Underground City - Cappadocia’s underground cities are unique, formed in soft tuff layers that can be several meters thick. These cities provided refuge from raids and have evolved from small villages to large cities, especially during the Byzantine period. Derinkuyu, meaning “deep well,” has eight underground floors and extends 55.5 meters deep. It features rooms for pets, warehouses, dining areas, kitchens, wine cellars, a church, a missionary school, a confessional, and a font. The ancient ventilation shafts still function, and the tunnels and halls are well-lit.
Ihlara Valley - This stone canyon stretches 14 kilometers and reaches depths of up to 150 meters in some places. It served as a refuge for Christian monks, with numerous rock-cut churches and residential caves. The walking tour through the valley covers 3.5 kilometers.
