The most renowned of these churches is the Church of the Apple, celebrated for its well-preserved frescoes. Additionally, the museum has a visitor center where guests can learn about the region’s history and early Christian religious practices.

The Open Air Museum is one of Cappadocia’s most visited attractions and is a must-see for those interested in history, art, and culture.

  • Pasabag - Pasabag, also known as Monks Valley, is a region in Cappadocia, Turkey, famed for its distinctive fairy chimneys. These tall, cone-shaped rock formations have been sculpted by erosion over time. The area is named after hermit monks who carved homes and places of worship into these formations. Pasabag features numerous fairy chimneys, some of which have been transformed into rooms and small churches, offering a unique glimpse into the hermit monks’ way of life. As part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pasabag is a popular tourist destination where visitors can explore the area’s stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.

Fantastic 2-Day Private Tour of Cappadocia - We had a great 2-day tour with our tour guide Bensu and driver Gulhami!! We covered areas like Lake Nar and Lake Tuz which are not typically included in a regular itinerary. Over two days, we covered a lot of ground - Kaymaklı Underground City, Ihlara Valley, Pigeon Valley, Uchisar Castle, Göreme Open Air Museum, Goreme Panaroma, Love Valley, Pottery Workshop among other places. Bensu was excellent in giving us a recap of what to expect and collaborate on how long we should spend at each location. Both Bensu and Gulhami went over and beyond our expectation - We were quite late coming back from Lake Tuz (it's a 2-hour drive back to Goreme after watching the sunset on Lake Tuz) and they helped us order and pick up food as the restaurants were almost closing before we hit town. They were very easy to work with. We would definitely recommend them as well as the tour company!!
